Considering "The Mark Of Shame" as a tattoo
yeah as the subject says, I love the emblem, its my favorite, and I'm considering getting it done on my arm, symbolize my love for halo2. Just need someone to maybe replicate it into a 800x600 res for me, and post a link that would be great.

There are only a few Bungie / Halo symbols that would look cool as tattoos [and this is coming from a man who doesn't really like them]. 1) The UNSC / Marathon symbol. 2) The "Mark of Shame" symbol. 3) The Se7enth Column symbol. 4) The Forerunner Glyphs. Whatever you do, don't get an image of Master Chief; it'd look silly.

wow, are you serious about this? This reminds me of Red vs Blue's PSA on tattoos. Why you should not get a tattoo in general, let alone one of the mark of shame from Halo: 1) Tattoos are permanent. 2) You are a God-damn idiot. And I'd like to prove this mathematically if I may. Take your current age. Now subtract 10 years from it. Were you smart back then? Of course you weren't! You were a God-damn idiot! The fact of the matter is, you're just as big an idiot today, it's just going to take you 10 more years to realize it. Now think if you had drawn a picture on your body 10 years ago. Would you still be happy with it today? Chances are, you wouldn't be. Honestly man, the symbol symbolizes failure for one thing, and on top of that, I am sure there is at least one game that you can think of that when it first came out it was so cool and at that time you wouldn't have minded getting a tattoo from that game, but now you would look back on that and think "what have I done?". I can garauntee you that Halo 2 is no different from any other game in the past, eventually it will just be a thing of the past and it won't be cool anymore.

Hey man though the image is a cool one it's true meaning would basically mean that you have committed an ultimate failure. Because you didn't accidently drop a nuke on your town i would have to say that you getting it would be the equivilent of some white bread rish boy getting a tupac tattoo, it really just won't be that cool.

The mark of shame isnt a tattoo that is very nerdy/gamer fanatic like. I say go for it. Other tattoos are just kinda weird and you will regret to have the rest of your life.

Well I think i'd be to far to get master cheif's face on my arm, but the mark of shame just looks so darn cool. There are extremsist out there though that would do such things, doens't bother me a bit.
