So I'm trying to rank up my titan in IB at the moment and am curious what set ups people use to dominate in PvP. What subclass/exotic/weps combinations are you having success with? Any playing tips on how to best use a titans features in PvP? Anything is appreciated.

Edited by Xen: 2/23/2015 6:45:50 PMStriker/Suros/aftershocks/amplify/lighting grenade/armetarium/helm of someshit that grants more super energy from grenade kills; I also used Bad JuJu to get the super energy off kills (when not running suros for bounties).

Striker with shoulder charge is probably the simplest loudout. Defender with bubble shield and armour of light can really wreck in control, but it takes more skill.

Fist of panic and shoulder panic
-
The secret: Fist of Panic anything that moves. That's how other titans PvP, anyways.

2 RepliesClearing camping rooms 101 1. Notice 2 or more buddies huddled up 2. Dance for a few seconds outside and next to the door 3. Throw "flashbang" into the room 4. Run in and FoH 5. Win

1 ReplyGuns depend on your playing style. As far as subclass goes the striker is much more offensive. Fist of havoc can wreck multiple enemies, and help defend or attack points wit aftermath. Shoulder charge is a one hit kill if you can get It down properly. However the defender, if used properly, is also very useful. Automatic 2 orbs for using and can prevent players from coming near you. Can also spawn more orbs if enemies shoot at it with that perk (forgot what it's called). Orbs are huge, assuming your team uses supers properly. Use suppression grenades on the defender to cancel someone's super. If on striker, use flash bang. Even one second of blindness can mean life or death.

2 RepliesI go striker with armamantiun for two lightning grenades. Guns I go either red death(getting ready for that buff) found verdict or suros/thorn/last word and a rare sniper that I like. Can't really go wrong with any heavy. Also shoulder charge, which I've noticed is the best weapon to use if you are stuck in a laggy game. I'm mostly a pve player doing iron banner this time around. The more games I play the more I believe pvp is made for hunters and warlocks. I've played on my cousins account as his warlock in pvp and it just fits a lot better. But I'll go on record saying nothing beats a good titan in pve.

I run striker class with vex, found verdict, and the swarm

2 RepliesWhy striker is the best for PvP High agility/armor with directional jump makes it easy for you to close in on(or avoid) targets fast, making shoulder charge and transfusion together OP. Found verdict has one of the largest ranges and good stability. Lightning grenades and armamentarium.(even better if you have max discipline) Corrective measure is great for chaining kills. I can average 20-30+ kills on a good day.

Just check out my guy he is really good for ib

Striker, Helm of Inmost Light, CQC weapons and shoulder charge! Good for the mainly CQC maps and fun to use!
-
Disregard those pesky guns that the game forces upon you. Use those fists

Edited by freesupport: 2/21/2015 6:49:29 PMWhy defender is best for control Defender every game. Helm of saint 14 (blind people who enter). I use armor of light inside because I can be stuck with a grenade and live. I can be punched and only half over shield damage. I can survive a shot gun shell. Usually I use a shotgun when I'm in my bubble. Primary scout rifle or hand cannon. Heavy doesn't matter. I use rockets. Thorn is good to use too. If you have it. (I don't have any high impact auto rifles. ) Lately I've been primarily using p. Revenge because the time to kill is so fast and I'm getting better with my head shots. And two body shots to kill if miss.

Striker, use aftermath and the perk that makes that and pluse grenades last longer.
-
Defender all the way buddy, since capturing objectives is the main goal you'd want to have the Armor of Light perk active as well and always be that guy to smack down your Ward of Dawn on an objective about to be overrun by enemies, I'm just about invincible under that circumstance with Secret Handshake at the ready. I go so far as taunting enemy players standing and staring into my bubble to test me, and I leave them all in a ruin! Muahaha :D It's critical you place your super at the right time to get the most out of it as well as your teammates too, and depending on which map make sure you figure out which hard point out of Alpha and Charlie is easier to safeguard Bravo with, and you're guaranteed a safe foothold to work your magic and win! I've been trying to find a team of six to take on the Iron Banner as all defender Titans to see what would happen, so if you're Xbox 360 add me! :o GT: ImmaculateORDER

I've found that of the three classes titans are the worst close quarters rushers so this is a load out that is good for attacking while staying at medium range from your enemies. Striker Exotic Armor: Helm of Inmost Light Super Perk: Shockwave Grenade: Flash bang (Used Less for stunning and more for dealing damage by bouncing around corners) Other perks: Shoulder charge, transfusion Weapons: Short Range Primary, Sniper Rifle With this build you can assault or defend control points, but make sure to back pedal when people move towards you. Mainly use your primary for one on one fights, and if there are a lot of enemies pop around a corner, fire of one or two sniper rounds then return to cover. Avoid close range engagements unless you are approaching from behind, in which case shoulder charge will make quick work of people.

I run Defender with full Crota gear and an exotic helmet, just to hit 32 for the extra advantage over 30s and 31s, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes. As for guns, I've been using Abyss Defiant, Swordbreaker, and Swarm (for MG headshots), and using Truth when that bounty is done. I'm sure other Defenders have better setups, but this one works for me.

Reckless and merciless

2 RepliesStriker: armamentarium as exotic, other pieces for discipline. Lightning grenade, aftermath, and overload. Max agility and armor, and go for increased durations for your grenades and aftermath.Shoulder charge. Find walls that you can use have your grenades shoot out horizontally into the control points and spam the heck out of them. Save your super for either countering other supers, or taking out at least 2 capturers in a point. For the load out I'm using Vanquisher, Secret Handshake, and Thunderlord (LDR 5001 on Shores though). Check my recent games. I suck at Crucible in general but this has been a good setup for control.
-
Shoulder charge, shotgun or melee anything left. Lightening nade control points with guardians in it. Try to hit at least two guardians in every fist of havoc. At least thats the idea. I suck at crucible. I think there are a lot of good exotic armor for the titan it's mostly about what you do well. Helm of inmost light, Stand Asides are both good. Armentarium is good as well for extra nades if you can't get the hang of shoulder charge. Thorn, suros, other OP primary is awesome as well.
