Thorn users in PvP are pathetic.
Before you get your undies in a bunch, read #2 below.
While I do not agree with a hand cannon nerf, people that use a fully upgraded Thorn in the Crucible are pathetic. Especially you 32s in the Iron Banner. So pathetic. And, for all you Thorn fanbabies reading this: I'll have Thorn as soon as I kill Xyor this weekend. And when I do, just as my gaming buddies, I will choose [i]not[/i] to bring it the the Crucible. I'll continue to push your teeth through your head without it.
1. I do not know why my stats don't show up. I have my privacy settings off. I've been here since launch. I have three level 31 Guardians, one of each class. My primaries are MIDA, Up for Anything, and Timur's Lash. Specials are LDR 5001 and Invective, depending on my character and the map.
2. I used inflammatory language to get your attention. It worked really, [i]really[/i] well.

Thorn isn't the problem. Neither is the people using it a problem. I for one don't have the thorn. Instead I use my timurs lash and I do fine against a thorn user. Move around, find cover and if all else fails go punch them in the face if u can't shoot.

Don't like thorn. I use hawkmoon or TLW. I don't like the feel of thorn and think too many people use it and it gets a bit annoying. But im perfectly fine with all the thorn users.

I just finished getting my Thorn a couple hours ago. After giving up on the bounty around 3 times, I decided to be, "that guy" and camp using all void weapons. Was kinda fun but I think I pissed some people off. Woops. So now I'm about to be even more of, "that guy." No shame though. Ready to take out other thorn users. Gun feels great so far and I've only got the first upgrade on it. I can already see how a lot of people think it's OP as tits. Even I think so. But if you can't beat em', join em'. That's how it goes right ? Oh well lol.

2 RepliesKid have you ever played a single game with pvp. In every game there are people who use certain methods that others complain about. Just about all of these methods end up being nearly unbeatable against a skilled player (like quick scopers in CoD). So if you plan on playing against others in games I suggest you suck it up, get better, or just quit gaming all together.

7 RepliesThere is no way I can agree with this logic. It's a competitive game. You should want to use every advantage you can get your hands on. Find a fireteam and get Xyor down. That's how I did it. Play any game out there and you will see that most people tend to pick up strong weapons and characters. You could do the same, too. If you want to play with other less strong weapons that is your prerogative.
