so...iron banner gear makes me an "fake 32"?...GO -blam!- YOURSELF, NOOB
can't believe that someone just send me a message, calling me an "fake 32"..just because of some iron banner gear.
oh wow...the stupidity in this community is endless. i'm probably more of an so called "true 32" than the majority in here.

i do have the full raid gear (both VOG and CE) for all of them, but hey...mea culpa, i just like the stats on certain exotics and IB gear way more...and at least i don't end up looking like everyone else.
there is no "true" or "fake" 32...a 32 is a 32...end of line...idiot

I grabbed the gloves even though I have the Crota raid ones, something different with different perks, so why not? Autorifle reload speed is nice to have for those headshot bounties, plus they do look pretty cool.

It's entirely possible for someone to get all of the raid gear in a single run of Crota's End, so about an hour. Iron Banner, however, requires you to grind out 2700 reputation to get to rank 3 for the first piece of gear, and another 2400 on top of that to get to rank 4 for the second piece. I've seen someone on Reddit who did all the math and estimated that it would require [i]at least[/i] 6-7 hours to get to rank 4. And this isn't even considering the fact that there are only two pieces of Iron Banner gear available at a time. This means that to reach level 32 with only Iron Banner gear (or with one exotic), it would take at least 12-14 hours [i]plus[/i] the full month wait until the next event. I for one have both of the 36 light gear pieces from this Iron Banner as well as Voidfang on my warlock, and I will still have to obtain the light 36 helmet from Crota's End to reach 32. It shouldn't matter at all how you reach that point. A level 32 is a level 32, end of story.

Another noob in the wall bruh. Getting IB 32 gear is harder than just avoid boomers and shoot rockets to Crota. Trust me, I'm on the same run.

I'm a 32 right now because of some IB gauntlets and because of them I've almost saved up enough shards to become a 32 without it. There's no problem with them at all. Idk what ppl r complaining about

Lol don't worry buddy, that attitude is dying. Everyone I know is trying to get IB gear so they can look a little different. With all the cheese, there is no such thing as a "real" 32 anyway. IB gear takes skill and time to get, just like raid gear. I'm gonna be rockin mine with pride.

Ppl are stupid it's harder to obtain in gear than raid gear considering you actually have to win matches and earn rank to get it. Got the ib haunts for my hunter last iron banner because the raid wouldn't drop em for me now I just scrap em for shards. Screw these nubs they're all fully cheese. Wear that ib gear with pride you fought long and hard for it I know I did

I think my only issue with IB gear is that somehow it doesn't require radiant shards... Shouldn't all gear (except exotics) that has 36 light value require radiant? Other than that I think I'm gonna run an IB32 only raid ;) I'll be the token Crota gear though since I've not been around for the last few IB events...

Most of the people that I've seen that make comments like that are awful at the game anyway, and anyone who would concern themselves with something so trivial is a dumbass...

PvE elitists are the same in EVERY game. I remember back in WoW when arena gear was [i]almost[/i] as good as raiding gear and the tears from the raiders flowed like a river
