Anyone else ejoying iron banner?
Was surprised at how much im enjoying iron banner. Not usually a pvp person but have been in holding my own hovering around the 1 k\d mark with 17-25 kills. Never really enjoyed it much untill this time around. Anyone else feel the same?
Edit: We are officially trending. So suprised to see the ammount of good comments in hear. Hope every has a lucky day and gets the gear they need/want.

First time I did the banner. I was tired of the vanguard bounty grind. I usually gamed with either 4 or 5 clanmates, we had a blast. I got my Lock to lvl5. I'm going to grind about 10000 more glimmer just to buy the other set of boots and gauntlets, the only thing that didn't drop for me was Timurs Lash.

yes i was surprised too! Grinded 1 character to lv5 (hunter) and warlock to lv4. Now some more grinding to pay for the shotgun and extra set of armor if i manage it or feel like it later. Call me crazy :) This is my first serious IB event, I like the armor, looks awesome and makes me less dependant on getting raid gear complete. It is also fun that you can reroll the IB weapons. Usually i dont play pvp unless needed for a bounty. Got the thorn bounty again for the warlock so did that part this IB too :) In general it was a lot of fun but also frustration when you encounter an opponent that uses lag switching or when you are against a team that really work together. Still amazes me also how well i did in some matches and how bad in others. Best thing i learned finally is to not run around like a headless chicken... Luckily i got the rocket launcher and hand cannon as drops but in all the matches i did not see a lot of drops of those... That can be frustrating as well.

I was until my sky broadband went down today!! Got to rank 4 and need another 5K for the boots and wanted to get to Rank 5 to get the Scout Rifle.... Sky Sucks ass

So glad I got to level 5. Look at my recent control matches, some pretty good games. Feltwinters lie with full auto and the perk that lets you switch weapons faster is beast. My iron banner gauntlets reload my suros faster. My aclyophage symbiote makes grenade kills give me super quicker so it's awesome that the other perk on my shotgun increases grenade use with each kill. My armour has high discipline and fairly high intellect but with the shotgun roll I have I'm getting more supers from having more grenades. Pretty stoked about iron banner coming back next month

I would enjoy it more if I had a suros for the auto rifle bounty. :( other then that, I've enjoyed it throughly.

I really enjoy the PvP in this game as well as the Iron Banner. But, this time round in the banner I have been met with so much lag it is just unbelievable. Have had too many bad games as a result. My K/D, which was not all that great to begin with, hovering at 1.12 has dropped to 1.08 over the weekend. Too much lag.... player is in front of me and I empty a clip and then suddenly he is behind me and boom. Has happended far too often and just can't seem to land shots on many occasions when the players seemingly teleporting everywhere.

I've enjoyed every Iron Banner, this one too. Apart from the lag, this is the worst one so far! All I want is Timurs Lash, but I've dropped three Radagasts Fury, haha. If I don't get it today, I may cry a little.

8 RepliesI always enjoy it the only thing that gets me pissed off is lag. Sometimes the games are perfect other times I can shoot people 100000 times and they just walk up and mellow me. If the servers could be more consistent it would make me a lot happier.

1 ReplyI didn't think I would but I really am having fun in iron banner. I'm also determined to get to rank 5 so I can buy armor, guns, and shaders. I hit rank 3 last night. That felt good. I feel like I do better in iron banner than regular crucible.

It's my first time participating in IB (I've been playing since the beta but never liked crucible) and I'm enjoying knowing that I will be rewarded for my time. Hit rank 3 last night and got the hand cannon. After three rerolls got it perfect. I really needed a break from the raid grind and I'm gonna enjoy having a few new toys.

No, I am -blam!-ing hating it. Just grinding to get to rank 5 to get that scout rifle, and everything little thing pisses me off, vex, thorn, lag, shotgunfest '15... Hell, I'm almost to the point where I say -blam!- it and I'll wait till it's monday so atleast the grind is less terrible...

I reached rank 5 today, the team i roll with are very good players, we have a win ratio of 80%, my rewards for the duration of iron banner i played are as follows 1 radeghasts fury with tracking, clown cartridge and field scout plus its arc 1 timur's lash with rangefinder and another perk i don't remember exactly cuz i dismantled it 1 birth of history 1 monte carlo For the scout rifle i purchased 2 and re rolled one and about 40 motes later i got one with firefly, outlaw and flared magwell oh and btw if ur hoping to get field scout don't cause it didn't appear even a single time Shotgun i kept it untouched cuz i like the way it is, overall it's been a good one for me
