Tried to get Heart of Praxic Fire.. 184 Motes later..
I have 7 Crest of Alpha Lupe's and one Voidfang Vestments. Sweet.
EDIT: With 130 Motes left I got on today and bought one engram and got HoPF! So stoked!!!

I got a HoPF in the very first nightfall. I love it. I just got a new one with more discipline last week.

3 RepliesDid 10 engrams, no HoPF. It's especially sucks since I got the raid helmet today, so now I can get level 32 with any exotics on. I've never wanted Praxic Fire more then I do right now.

went to xür on friday. bought one chest engram with motes of light . what did i get? HoPF !! but i can´t use it cause i´m on a titan. no use for it. i put it into my vault. maybe there will be trading in destiny so i can give it to my friend. HoPF for MIDA or VEX

Lol, right there with you, bought 10 engrams, didn't get it. Did nightfall last night on my hunter, friend got ghorn (still need) and I got h of pf. Lol. Wasted all those notes for nothing.

3 RepliesI took a brief break from Destiny. I have was not able to farm motes. I had 21 motes. I basically gave up. After a quick daily story, I got three engrams, 2 rates and 1 legendary. A visit to the Cryptarch gave me two motes and Truth(!). Exuberant , I approached Xur. I screamed at him, "YOU TENTACLE FACED *******, JUST ***** ******** **** AND ******* **** ***** ****** ******** ***** AND **** GIVE ME A**** *** ***** HEART OF THE PRAXIC FIRE!!!!!!!!! It worked

Yeah I bought 8 or 9 chest engrams, decrypted those and the 5 gauntlet engrams as well as the 5 helmet engrams I had saved. Didn't get the HotPF, but I did get some other sweet gear. I got my third Thunderlord from levelling up the cryptarch while I was at it so that was good.

Then a couple hours later Rahool decided not to be a dick and gave me a nice set of legendary Warlock Vanguard gauntlets from a blue engram

After shifting through vault and clearing way for 70 coins worth of heavy delete char (Saturday 2/21/14), lvl 28 atm really need a set of gloves lol.
