I don't care if you're not ready for a baby, you made the decision to make it so take responsibility. However, i do think that there are medical conditions where abortion is, not acceptable so much as justifiable. For example if a child would not be able to survive outside the womb. But the reasons for it are very few and all are medical. There is [b]no excuse[/b] to abort a child out of your own self interest (college, "I'm not ready", etc). Anyone who does is a complete and utter piece of shit human being.

The problem I have with all these arguements is where everyone wants to draw the line. If you kill pregnant woman, that's a double homicide. If you currently have an abortion, that's not murder. They want to state that it is murder, so how far can someone back date it until you deny human life? The second an egg is fertilized (because that makes a lot of females murderers)? Why not just go on and call that creepy hobbo masterbating in the corner a murderer of potential children? I would assume the life is considered a life when the government starts wanted all the cash, which was probably three years before conception :)

Oh look. Subjective views presented as objective truth. As usual. An embryo and a newborn are biologically not the same thing at all; where one turns into the other and whether one or both should be given moral standing are not simple questions to answer at all. Those answers do not lie solely in biology, else we would already have them, so we should stop pretending they do and get on with combatting the real issue, which is reconciling our oppositional moral systems.
