So my wife wants to try out Destiny. I have only every played as a Warlock, which I like. Her only FPS experience has been on Halo 1 of MCC and she is not very good at controling her character as of yet. My question is what class do you think lends itself to a new player of FPS genre the easiest? Which is most forgiving especially at the lower levels?
Edit: Thanks so much for all the responses, I think I am going to suggest to her to go either Titan or Warlock, as she wants to do her own account from the beginning (for the gamerpoints) I think I'm going to suggest mostly to do the Titan. Anyone know of any good summary videos between the two that I can show her? Did Datto do any (I am at work or I would search for one myself)
Edit 2: Apparently all classes are noob classes but LordStilton07 said it best quoting Othello A minute to learn a lifetime to master, question is which moment is shortest

Edited by RaTtAtAtTaTt: 2/19/2015 11:31:53 PMDepends, if it's pvp than hunter. Pve probably titan for armor buffs and foh/bubble plus the jump has nice control or warlock for selfres.

Titan

Warlock self res With shield after melee
-
3 RepliesTitan. More durable and more forgiving of mistakes in PvE play.
-
Titan. Warlock and hunter aren't quite as user friendly.
-
Check DattoDoesDestiny for his earlier videos on youtube. It has a lot of excellent information that you could relay to your wife.

2 RepliesHaving played all three, I would say probably Titan, but only by a small margin. Never the Hunter. Hunter is the most difficult of all to play well (not that any of them are difficult...so I guess Hunter is just the least easy). Warlock is a close second but Titan wins because of the large amount of instakill/high damage attacks. Shoulder charge, fist of panic, extra armor in PvE, grenades that stun your enemies, and lots of good passives. Warlock is my favorite, but don't get me wrong, I love Titans too. I dislike the Hunter, but it's not that it's difficult for me to play (it isn't.) I just don't enjoy being a Hunter as much as a Warlock or Titan.

Warlock for self res cause if your going to die alot you might as well be able to revive right
-
Titans, highest health pool.
-
Defender titan probably. It has the most leeway in PVP. Bubble is amazing, and perks for a stronger force barrier, longer lasting and regenerating are amazing. Those perks plus No Backup Plan means you have almost 100% uptime on force barrier.
-
warlocks because they need two lives to kill something lol
-
Titan cause they have that bubble shield
-
Titan for sure
-
Titan. Duh
-
5 RepliesIf you want to be a noob just use sunsinger warlock there you go.
-
They are all easy af to use if you know how to play a game and are good at it... This post is stupid
-
4 RepliesPlay halo first until she gets comfortable with the controller enough to be good at it
-
Titan is easiest, hunter is most fun, warlock just because
-
Warlocks have 2 lives.
-
Warlock or Titan, hunters are quite a tricky playstyle to master for new players.
-
Warlock or titan for sure
-
Tbh warlocks are the easiest to learn and give the most reward. Nova is like a FoH and radiance let's you go tanker than a Bladedancer. So I'd say go for warlock.

1 ReplyEvery class is for noobs apparently

8 RepliesHunter is noob class
