You Can Not Join My Raids With IB Gear
We should not let these fake level 32's in our raids for two reasons:
1. Iron Banner gear is for PvP not PvE
2. They don't deserve it. Anyone can hit IB rank 3 and 4. Grinding for the gear in raids is how it should be done.
Edit: I'm 32 just ranking up gear and even if I wasn't 32 I have the gear to get there so think before you speak.
Edit 2: This is getting more attention than I thought it would so I'd like to take this time to rub this in your faces. You know that Red Death, Suros, and Gjallarhorn you all worked so hard and long for? I got them all in one week.
Edit 3: This is getting boring same responses over and over. I intended to just write the original post but I had to take the opportunity to mess with you guys. I might answer some comments later.

The IB gear makes you look different from the rest, and it's actually earned cuz you've got to grind to the top while PVE (myself included) players could get the gear in one game. If you get the right exotic, Abyss: Gauntlets Build The Bridge: Chest Crota: Helm You could have exotic legs (Unless your a Warlock lol) So Iron Banner players are more "real" than we are, especially because they have only ONE WEEK

But Crota gear is much easier to get. So many people have full sets on all there characters.(I'm only missing the warlock helm) I've never seen an IB 32 though. much harder to IB armor any way

It's honestly taken me longer to level up IB than it was to get 3 pieces of raid gear.

Fake 32...no such thing...gear is gear whether you use 3 pieces of raid gear and an exotic or all raid gear...it still works...quit crying and just play the damn game

1 ReplyYou can push a 28 through the thrall cave and bridge in a matter of 15 minutes. Bam! Boots, chest and gloves. Level 32. Do you know how long iron banner takes to rank up? A hell of a lot longer than cheesing your way through the raid.. I mean "grinding". I feel more accomplished with the iron banner gear than with the raid gear. Definitely took a lot more work.

I have the raid gear and I think it is ugly as -blam!- so I wear the IB gear when I'm not raiding. Its a purely visual thing for me and who cares how other people get to 32?

No. Not anyone can get rank 5 IB because most people suck at PVP and don't have the guts to last that long. Any group of 10 year olds can watch YouTube videos and learn how to cheese raids, or get carried through by people who do. Raid gear doesn't mean shit. I know a guy who did Crota one time and got a full set.

Since there is no way to verify that means no exotics AT ALL! Other than Vex. They could have gotten them from a drop in PvP. Filthy PvP weapons!!! So if it didn't come from VoG or Crota you shouldn't be allowed to use it.

3 RepliesCrota's gear is easier to achieve, in pvp you actually have to do well and grind a lot, I'm 32 but my Titan will be using iron banner gear to avoid looking like a clone
