Okay. So I beat it. The ending though. Talk about sequel bait. I actually liked the story. The problem is it introduces so many plot threads but never ends them. They're saved for sequels. That upsets me. The graphics though. Seriously. This is possibly the most detailed game I've ever seen.

You can at least do what I did and rent the order it's actually really good but that's just me.

You know what I think is cool, Cutscenes look exactly like the in-game graphics and there is no fade. It literally goes to cutscene to gameplay. Even Naughty Dog games fade to black while they switch. This game doesn't.

3 RepliesI have it...it's really not that bad...yes it's linear however the graphics are the best on console ever...period. Story is great...setting is awesome. If u enjoy gears of war you will like this game. However I don't see to much replayability so if you have the opportunity to rent or borrow do that. Don't miss out on the truly best looking game ever created just because of reviews.

3 RepliesEdited by Svea_Forzum: 2/20/2015 11:18:02 PMAt the start of chapter IV right now clocked at around 3 hours. 11 chapters to go. + (sofar) Stunning graphics (next gen finally), interesting story (sofar), really like the characters, cool arsenal. - (sofar) Extremely linear, tons of cutscenes & Uskippable (tho this doesn't really bother me, yet. But I can see others be bothered by it), a whole lot of quick time events. It's far away from bad, but it ain't great. I enjoy it so far.

2 RepliesBeen saying this for months now on these forums but this is just another example of why you should never pre order a game in this day and age. How many examples of disappointing launches do people need before they get the picture? Overly hyped, overly marketed games that turn out to be underwhelming are atarting to become the norm for Triple A games. For gods sake people, hold on to your money until you see what the final product is. Common sense ya?

5 RepliesI'm so surprised. Really should have seen the signs...what a bummer. It's a shame that developers are making such sub-par games these past couple of years. I can't tell if it's ignorance, greed, or incompetence. Here's hoping 2015 will at least be better than 2014 in terms of quality releases.

So this dude on my friends list was playing the game 4 or 5 days before release because he managed to get an early copy from somewhere. So I asked him how the game was and he said it was super linear and not fun at all and wanted to get his money back. Oh well those sony ponies are really pissed now.

What I thought was insane was that the developers calling the criticism akin to bullying. Produce a good quality game and you will get much better of a response. Stupid A developer. Bullying? Make a game I want to buy!
