I have it and is op in pvp but only exotic I have.
-
It's probably because it's ur first exotic. Once you get other guns you'll know it's bad.
-
Only use it for oracles.
-
It was trash before the buff. But it's fun to use!
-
The first time you fire thunderlord you'll understand. Or jolder's hammer. Or corrective measure.
-
Edited by zmach1: 2/22/2015 2:27:38 AMIt isn't bad at all, but other Legendary machine guns are as good or better and don't take up an exotic slot. If it is your only exotic, then have fun with it. It will serve you well till you get other exotics that will make it an occasional option or a vault resident.
-
The special ability 'super good advice' makes up for the terrible stability but then it's just a normal machine gun that kicks like a mule
-
Because it is extremely situational in it's usefulness.
-
I wouldn't say its BAD, just that there are much better exotics to use than it. Since you only get to choose one to use...
-
It's not that bad, but there's so many better guns out there. You'll see.
-
I love it to!
-
Super Good Advice used to be one of the worst Exotics in the game, right next to Bad Juju. The main reasons it was very subpar were because it had absolutely no Stability to speak of (Hunter's Gunslinger's Trance ability only goes so far) and its core Exotic mechanic is that it requires you to miss your target in order for it to come into effect.
-
If you say it is bad then either ur a Christmas newb or a total noob. Just like any gun in this game they have their particular use in different scenarios. Heck even NLB is awesome in some cases especially CE after ir yut and you need those heavy ammos

Edited by saint4hire: 2/20/2015 12:19:55 PMHaving done the stupid exotic quest for it, I started working on it, realized it sucked, Dark Below DLC dropped - decided it wasn't worth dropping the 7k glimmer to upgrade it - Destroyed it and pocketed the exotic shard.... BTW - I hate the recoil...the b@5tard jumps around like a squirrel on crack when you're firing the PoS....unless you want to be spitting distance of your enemies....not effective....
-
It is not bad. Just not as good as corrective measures, song of ir yut, or thunderlord.
-
The fact that it's perk is used to make up for its inaccuracy says everything, any vendor MG is better.
-
It's not bad for a LMG. It's bad for an exotic.
-
Because only scrubs miss shots completely
-
Edited by illmatic_nga: 2/19/2015 7:20:56 PMI don't think its bad. It's pretty good for the atheon fight. Its just not worth having equipped over other exotics in most cases.
-
Compared to Thunderlord it's not great.
-
Oracles and oversoul. No more to say
-
It's really not bad at all. Pretty cool really. It's just most other exotics out class it
-
Leaked Xur item list for 2-20-15, you're welcome. I would appreciate the up-votes https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/102900513/0/0/1
-
Use it on oracles and detain bubbles they count as missed rounds
-
It's ok but far from OP. It's best use in PVP for me is on control firing into crowds trying to take points. With the SGA perk you can keep a point clean and just keep firing.
-
It doesn't suck. Many of the haters haven't bothered to upgrade it, so they think it sucks.
-
It's not bad. You just have to use it right.
