Best Atheon Loadout?
Primary: Oversoul Edict/ Up for Anything/ Another NITC/ Thorn
Special: Ice Breaker/ Black Hammer/ Plan C/ Void Plug 1/ Murmur
Heavy: Void Against All Odds/ Void Admonisher
Atheon Hard to be exact.
Not sure which combo to go with. Any help would be appreciated.

Edited by kadam83: 2/19/2015 8:35:29 PMIf you can run either void option for heavy I would recommend it because void downs Praetorian shields quickly. Void Plug would also work, but read my special weapon sentence below Ice Breaker always worked for me on both normal and hard mode for Atheon Primary I am not sure. I've never tried my Thorn, and I don't have any of the other 3 you mentioned. I have VoC and it works great. I'd try for something with higher impact so you can take down the supplicants quickly. I wouldn't recommend Up For Anything since it has a low impact. Good luck!

2 RepliesI'm a 32 warlock that completed VoG on normal three times before TDB released but never completed VoG hard and never got any Vault weapons to drop for me. I want to try VoG hard and was looking for feedback on what my loadout for Atheon would be. Fang of Ir Yut or Crypt Dweller scout with Zen Moment, Send It and Firefly (for supplicants) Black Hammer (for Atheon) Super Good Advice (for Oracles/containment bubbles) All weapons at 331 damage. Thoughts?

Here is what you should have for the primary: VoC. If you don't have that then P. timepiece. If you don't have that then Fatebringer. If you don't have that then AE. If you don't have that then get out of hard raid Special: icebreaker or a fast fire rate and high impact fusion rifle Heavy: Corrective measure if your using icebreaker. If using fusion rifle use ghorn

Use VOG primaries! They are the best thing to use against Atheon on hard.

Use a VoG primary if you have it, if not go a raid secondary or corrective measure or super good advice. Best load out VoC/Fatebringer Icebreaker/black hammer Ghorn/HoC/Super Good Advice/Corrective Measure

Out of those I would use Another Nitc, Plan C (good on oracles), and Against All Odds. AAO will do more damage per mag and you don't accidentally kill yourself in the middle.
