Every game leaves some retention that goes away after watching something else. The rate that this retention damages happens much faster then the rate of recovery for the retention. As plasma owners we all noticed the HUD being retained but many of us assumed it would wipe away like everything else by watching something else. That is not the case. Sadly, when you really notice the retention is getting worse not better it is too late. Believe me, I have had no burn in issues from any game in the past. I'm an educated plasma user. The way his HUD was created alone does massive damage to plasma screens because the bright whites and yellows are thick, negating the effect of a pixel orbiter.
