How do raid cp's work?
So a friend of mine passed on the Gorgons lair checkpoint to me on hard mode and I invited others we got to atheon, killed him then went back to the tower and once I went back to the VOG raid on hard mode I was back at the beginning again? Is that Normal? How do some people run the atheon checkpoint multiple times then?

People normally run Atheon multiple times by either passing on the checkpoints to their other characters or having someone else with the checkpoint host
