O_o[/quote] lol, I was reading about nerve gas toxicity. Flaccid paralysis is when you suddenly become paralyzed from a nontraumatic source. The nerve gasses cause the paralysis by inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. Acetylcholinesterase is used to reverse acetycholine. To put it simple, acetycholine is a chemical your body uses to make muscles contract, and acetylcholinesterase is used to make muscle relax. The nerve gasses interrupt this process and you lose control of your body.
