The Unspoken Code Of Iron Banner
1. If you're a scrub, don't play Iron Banner. It's unfair to your teammates to have to carry you game in and game out.
2. If you're under level 30, you better be -blam!-ing good.
3. Don't use the McDonalds connection from 3 blocks away.
4. Use your primary for at least 1 kill per match.
5. Thorn is for pussies and bad kids, but we can't stop you from using it.
6. See rule 5, replace thorn with any fusion rifle (yes, including Vex)
7. The machine gun headshot bounty is there for a reason. [hint, hint]
8. Stop camping, you're probably just hurting your team by spawn trapping them.
9. No T-bagging. It's discraceful and disrespectful to your fellow guardian.
10. Don't quit. Quitting not only proves that you're trash, but can screw your team over, and that's not fair to them.
11. (Optional) Play with a fireteam! Playing with your friends can boost your morale and ultimately lead to better play, and a better experience.
Have fun and remember, there's only one path to victory guardians!

So what's the point of doing iron banner if you can't bring your most dominating weapon. Putting any restriction on any weapon doesn't make any sense. Isn't using your most powerful stuff the whole point?

I'll go by my own rule: Do whatever I can to make sure my team will win. That includes using the Thorn. I've been using the bloody thing since before the buff, like hell I'm going to abandon it now.

Great list of spoken rules but if i want to use thorn i will. I didnt do that ridiculous bounty for nothing and hand cannons are getting a nerf because of people complaining about it (thanks). So yeah ill use it bruh.

But if I go I there? I'm using my Thorn. I did that bounty back in September for a reason, and that reason is to kill. You can cry about it to my inbox.

So how do you expect me to get better if you say I cant play? This is exactly why the PvP community comes across as toxic, You bag us Pve players for just playing Pve, then we try out PvP because well.. Iron Banner, and you tell us not to play! Thorn can only be earned via PvE and PvP which I found the hardest, but you tell me now I'm not allowed to use it in PvP. You know what I'm just gonna enjoy the game the way I want, may I suggest you do the same, and if you run into me in Iron Banner feel free to drop me a couple of times to relieve your anger, Hell it's not that hard!
