The Unspoken Code Of Iron Banner
1. If you're a scrub, don't play Iron Banner. It's unfair to your teammates to have to carry you game in and game out.
2. If you're under level 30, you better be -blam!-ing good.
3. Don't use the McDonalds connection from 3 blocks away.
4. Use your primary for at least 1 kill per match.
5. Thorn is for pussies and bad kids, but we can't stop you from using it.
6. See rule 5, replace thorn with any fusion rifle (yes, including Vex)
7. The machine gun headshot bounty is there for a reason. [hint, hint]
8. Stop camping, you're probably just hurting your team by spawn trapping them.
9. No T-bagging. It's discraceful and disrespectful to your fellow guardian.
10. Don't quit. Quitting not only proves that you're trash, but can screw your team over, and that's not fair to them.
11. (Optional) Play with a fireteam! Playing with your friends can boost your morale and ultimately lead to better play, and a better experience.

if I run into a team using thorn, you can bet your sweet ass I'm using mine. also, the bag is acceptable. teabagging has its own code of conduct. all rules and regulations in said code must be upheld to the letter though, lest one give in to a shameful display

5 RepliesYeah it's frustrating as hell when you get scrubs on you're team and lose because they don't know how to flip spawns to the better one. Doesn't mean you should make a full on post about it. The quitting thing I agree with, 5k point difference is pretty big but anything at or below that you should just stick it out, getting that medallion is worth more than just quitting and getting into another match that you will provably just quick. It's not a lot of rep from medallions but it's better than quitting and getting 0. (IMHO).

MOST IMPORTANT: Wait for AT LEAST 2 teammates to join you at the heavy ammo. Those who control the heavy control the match.

2 RepliesIf I see you I will kill you with my Thorn or my Light/beware that is on my level 8 Scrub running his Milk Toast subclass, then tea bag you like there's no tomorrow. Of course this will happen right after I grab all of the heavy ammo for myself and go to take zone C while my team mates guard zones A and B. I will then quit right before the end of the match because, reasons.
