Why lower yourselves to giving huntards worth?
This swordbearing thing is getting out of control. First raid warlocks were relic holders due to the self res trick. Now in the second raid huntards are chosen not because of their overall abilities or guns, or skillset. Nope. They are carried to crota just because of the blink strike invis trick.
Thats their only worth outside of the crucible... Kinda tired of seeing this? I mean warlocks can self res if crota glitches and stops the team from wipin and losing heavy ammo and titans have a great jump that can bring them to crota before he goes down in time better than warlocks and huntards altogether and can escape using the sword swipe trick.
Purpose of this post is, huntards suck overall in game and you give them hope in crotas end that they're usable outside of the crucible... Why? They got no real abilities and are 100% reliant on their guns. And once one huntard uses a tactic that exploits the stupidity of others and takes opportunity away from another class they're somehow prioritized even though in vanilla no one wanted them due to their inability to have support for the team. And now its changed?
Anyone wanna explain this..?

Wanna know why you can go invisible and res us? Cuz you sit back and hide while we're forced to do everything.

Edit 3: Ive had a huntard before. 2 actually, one gundrinker and one bladeprancer. Need proof? Look at my achievements on xbox.
Hunters have zero to none use outside of pvp. And exploit the ignorance of others when someone found out about the blink strike trick. Hunters just hide. Thats all they do, thats what they did in the alpha, what they did in the beta, thats what they did in vanilla and when you posted on this, 10 years from now when you look at huntards they are only going to just be exploiting and hiding.

1 Replymost good players(you being excluded) run all 3 characters. Each character has his perks to help the team. really? Crota is the only time hunters are useful? I've never been carried by anyone to Crota when I play my hunter. maybe you need to find people who aren't terrible @ this game. 1) they can solo the abyss better than the other 2 2) the hunters are hands down the best character for the cabal enemies w/ gunslinger class 3) don't ever sit back and hide w/ invis, im out killing and saving others @ the same time. again, find better teammates 4) you don't even have a hunter, so how could you say they have no skillset? 5) hunters aren't pu55ies that self rez or sit inside a bubble. they're in your face, or running circles around ya,

Useful? For what? I can run anything with my hunter and b just as useful in anything in this game. Y? Because I kill the most. That's what hunters do, we kill. I run relics, swords whatever with any character. It's not about usefulness or warlocks or titans or hunters.. It's skills... Period. I'll take any character as long as the person controlling em doesn't suck.

2 RepliesI find that each class has its role in crotas end, speaking for hard mode. Hunters are the sword bearers, warlocks create the orbs in the shard room and Titans give the bubble to distract the boomers. Everyone has a job.

5 RepliesPlease provide us with a video or livestream of you doing hard mode Crota so that we can all have our faces melted by your obvious greatness. I'll expect to see: -Solo the Lamps -Solo the bridge.... Actually, you can have another Warlock assist you there, even though I'm certain you wouldn't need help. - Kill the Deathsinger, you may have 2 more warlocks assist you there, that gives you at least 6 lives, but I'm sure you won't need them at all. - Kill Crota, full team okay as long as there is no Hunters and you are the swordbearer, but less than 3 tries, as you have said in this thread you only wipe one or twice max. -Start to finish should take less than 45 minutes. - No Gjarrarhorns or Mythoclasts because, according to you, they are noob weapons. And, according to your logic, using abilities is a crutch, so I will be disappointed to see you self res, but would still allow it. Show us lowly exploiters the way, oh great warlock raidmaster!!!!

Why are people still saying one class is better. If you don't like it don't play it problem solved. Don't want a hunter don't ask for one, same thing for the other classes. It's a dam game people who cares.

1 ReplyHunter here! Yes I get called squishy and crap by my Titan mates but so far, everything they do I can do and often they're the dead ones and I'm resing them. Hunters are awesome and you can't play as a hunter so you can't really pass a fair judgment on the matter...

Hunters using blink strike is a proven method for defeating Crota, therefore people will request Hunters as Swordbearers because it works. Not saying other methods don't work, but this is currently the most popular method used by the players. Just like killing Aetheon in the bubble became a popular method in VoG. It's not the only method, but is proven to work. The players will always flock to the proven methods. Sorry you are upset because your Warlock is no longer the most popular raid addition. Maybe HoW will have a section where the Warlock excels, maybe it won't... Guess we will have to wait and see. Edit: if you want players to stop using Hunters as primary sword bearers, you must show the players a better and more consistently effective way to beat Crota, as your claim is that a Warlock is a better sword bearer, prove it to the playerbase and I guarantee they will follow suit, thereby increasing the worth of your preferred class in the raid. It's really that simple. Also, a quick poll, if you think hunters going invisible is an exploit, as OP suggests, please respond with "yes", if you think it is an intelligent and viable tactic, respond with "no". Are the Hunter's invisibility perks exploitive?

The biggest problem I see is the fact that you have 2 warlocks. Delete one make a hunter problem solved : )
