I never had issues with the vex or hawkmoon .. sure I've been one shot by the hawkmoon before.. but that's ok cause rng is there to balance that out . thorn is the only weapon I've ever wondered if maybe it could be tweaked for pvp.. nothing insane.. no point in making a great weapon crap.. just make the dot go away when wielder dies.. that small change would probably be enough for me to have no issues with the thorn in pvp.
