people that use exotics that don't go with their subclass
Is it just me or does it really annoy other people aswell?

Used to switch between HOPF and obsidian mind but I've just stick with obsidian mind for the super regen

I have the symbiote helm for gunslingers, on my bladedancer. But only cause I don't have any other exotic armor that would run better on the bladedancer.

Depends on what they're doing. I used my st-14 with striker yesterday to get my super quicker for a bounty. Also run skullfort with defender on crota for orb regen. I use obsidian mind for both sun and void because of faster super and lack of raid helmet. And I've run third man and lucky raspberry on my gunslinger for orb regen and more ammo for the vex.

Sometimes it just doesn't matter to me. For my titan helms. I always wear saint 14 even on my striker class. The only way I can be at 32 is with a helmet until I get the raid helmet.

Running Raid Gear in PvP, I don't get it. I understand running the legs for heavy ammo, or using special ammo reloader, but I feel like theirs load outs to get more out of. Also when I see a Blade dancer with Twitch Movement or whatever, stacking strength. Seriously, your melee comes back in 5 seconds, why waste armor to have it go down to 2.5 seconds, when you can get much higher intellect and discipline... lol

I use Obsidian Mind with Sunsinger just to get my super faster. The Nova bomb super regen perk doesn't get used but it's still a viable helm for that subclass until I get a better one. (missed out on LBN, needed IB more) Ruin Wings stay on my Titan, though,so no issue there. Might be in contest with Saint 14 if I ever -blam!-ing get one. Lol

1 Reply99.99% of the exotic perks for subclasses make nearly no difference in the full gameplay. Keep crying.

I prefer to use armor that works with my subclass but if I don't have any, I'd prefer to equip whatever makes me stronger

I run Obsidian Mind almost all the time on my Warlock, even if I'm on Sunsinger. Obviously that would change if I had the Heart of Praxic Fire, but since I don't, I like to use it for the Int-Str and Inverse Shadow.

3 RepliesSometimes they have to use certain exotic armour to be a high enough level. I have to use my Symbiote helmet in the raid, despite using bladedancer, until I can level up my raid helmet.

I use insurm skullfort on my defender in Crota merely for the bonus of health regen. Seems smart to me!

No,it annoys me when people tell others how to play, If I want to be a striker in helm of saint, or defender in inmost light I will, not that I ever would............

I feel ya! Helm of inmost light with defender wahhh?! Mask of the third man with gunslinger huhhh?! The arhimkara helmet with sunsinger wtf?! Ps: it doesn't bother me a lot. I just think it's stupid. I get that people try to level up those exotics so they have to use them but use the right subclass when doing them. And obsidian mind with sunsinger is the greatest "wtf where you thinking bro?" Moment of all

It doesn't bother me all that much. I could see how it can, but hey maybe they're using it for the stat roll or ammo perks.

I get annoyed when people don't use the appropriate weapon with the burns. Like some idiots using solar against the vex in the nightfall.
