For Crota Normal a Gjallarhorn is not needed at all. For Crota Hard, you should have at least one on your team. What most people, who fail to complete Crota on any difficulty, don't understand is that the only thing you need to beat him are the following: 1.) Competent sword carrier(lvl 31 minimum for normal, 32 required for Hard) 2.) Communication 3.) Everyone following the established strategy 4.) Good aim That is IT.

When I did hard mode, there was only 2 people shooting crota with g horns lols, I've never seen or heard of someone being booted until I read on forums, while it is frustrating when someone doesn't have it, it's still doable

i agree, its hard for me to do a raid anymore because people are so damn picky now, they want to see your 331 Gally equiped before they take you...COME ON!! even though i have one not fully maxed i love it but still people shouldn't be so damn picky
