The Biggest Plot Holes Of Destiny
On the mission "The Sword Of Crota", dinklebot mentions Crota wielding a sword that you can use later in the mission. Compare that sword to Crotas sword in the raid. Just let the thought sink in.....

That my awoken character doesn't know who the awoken are... honestly pissed me off on my first play through. That's how you know the story got messed up.

5 RepliesActually that's a sword crota made with his mind( the raid one). You are actually fighting Crotas soul in the raid. The crystal mission just keeps crota coming into our world. Crotas End makes sure he doesn't exist at all. In the raid you are in Crotas land, he made everything. The sword we use in the sword of crota mission was the sword he used in our world. Grimore cards

The biggest plot hole to me is with Rasputin. Dinklebot makes it seem like there was no knowledge of Rasputin before you find him. Then Eris comes after being hidden away for however long and sounds like she is best friends with him during the new mission. How the hell did that slip out?

2 RepliesEris: We went to the moon seeking vengeance. But it found us first. Then later she says: Crota, we had never encountered anything like him before. How can two people seek vengeance against each other if they have never met? Sure... maybe they were going to the moon looking for vengeance against aomething else.. thus seeking vengeance. But if Crota prevented that vengeance and had never encountered Eris and her team before... well that wouldn't be vengeance finding them firat, that would be their vengeance being prevented by a new enemy. Some of the things said in the story are purely nonsensical words strung together in the hopes of sounding cool and mysterious.

19 RepliesThe Traveler in it's last moments spawned millions of ghosts, who revive the dead and wield space magic to fight on. If a guardian dies, the Ghost can resurrect him/her. Now, we players represent the strength of Guardians in general right? HOW THE F UCK DID THE DARKNESS WIN DURING THE COLLAPSE!? Crota slaughters thousands of guardians, gets whipped by six. Cabal destroy planets and are highly militaristic? Guardians leisurely stroll through the exclusion zones and slaughter their command structures. Vex can manipulate time, can't forsee Atheon's demise. Or protect the Black Garden from a single Guardian. The Hive are endless evil, yet one Guardian can slay literally THOUSANDS before he/she is overcome...only to resurrect again. Why does no enemy try to smash your ghost? I could go on...but I won't. But I could...

Crota's existence in the raid is only possible because it's a special dimension where he can exist in his quasi-pseudo-almost a real boy-state. Similar to Atheon. They are beings that can only exist within a certain place in space and time.
