Beating Invigorate - A Story
Good News - My squad that formed just a few days ago, beat Invigorate, the so called best clan in Destiny! We were originally matched with DeeJ and iNV during the Bungie Bounty but DeeJ (Bungie Community Manager) got an error code on his PS4 after we were match made so Invigorate left the match. Invigorate was kind enough to rematch us and we came out with a solid win despite being the underdogs.
Bad News - I was told by a member of Invigorate that they would talk to DeeJ about giving us the special emblems you get for beating them during the Bungie Bounty if we "came close" but "if you get crushed there is no need". It seems like they haven't said anything although we beat them by 2K+ points.
The Request - I believe if enough people bring this to DeeJ's attention, my squad could receive the emblems. Do you think my squad deserves them? We were promised that if we won iNV would talk to DeeJ, and they haven't. I would be very thankful if you guys would tweet DeeJ the link to this video and let him know your thoughts on whether we should receive our emblems. Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoy the game.

2 RepliesMaybe if you came across with a little more gratitude? Or chilled with the 'want' spam treads? Saying things like "so called best clan" Nobody proclaimed that's who they are..Bungie haven't, INV themselves haven't. They're a group of players, who formed a clan, achieved some cool things in this game, and Bungie/DeeJ have/has taken it upon themselves to give the guys a little credit. Being they've obviously worked pretty hard with Destiny's challenges. You guys faced them in the crucible and won 'a' match, congrats but now flooding the forums asking randoms to tweet the guy, PM whatever, comes across as desperate. I'm sure they all have lives and while I understand you're dying to throw on the emblem of godly skill...it's just an emblem. Calm down and chill a bit and you might find people are more willing to work with/for you to get you something you want. Don't slam INV as a clan 'no matter how subtle' because you beat them in a PvP game, it's not just about who beat what first but also the positive vibes players actions can bring.
