why do 32s hate 31s?
Ok i have crota cp on hard and im lvl 31 got there by 3 32s and 2 other 31s but they leave or whatever plz someone help me?

Edit 3: holy cow nipples batman so much replies i see that some 32s are fighting back with evidence it's just crota cp that use 31s could possibly 0.1111111111111111111 chance of beating from fresh to death singer thats all 31s can do
Edit 4: I have a question if i did hard first (i know the chests wont be there on normal) but non chest loot like lamps going into the light, crossing the bridge, killing the deathsinger, killing crota will i get loot or wait for weekly?
Edit 5: I have crota hard cp if interested so... Let's see if im good or not according to you 32s ;) and let's bring 1 31 aswell up for it?

Granted this was on normal but, I took a bunch of new players on their first VoG raid over the weekend. We had only one 30, two others were 26-27, and then me the only 32 there. They had the Oracle check point for Templar and we wiped a few times until I went over the sniper strategy with them. We were able to clear the oracles and using the sniper method we cleared the Templar. I also showed them the spirit bloom room and lead them through the gorgons with only a few wipes. We laughed through the jumping puzzle and were able to four man it all the way to Atheon himself but, that's where it got complicated. They understood the strategy of getting the relic after being teleported but, our numbers and lvl's were too few and we finally, after many wipes, decided to save the check point for another time. Point is I don't hate 31's (or under) I spent many a day as a 31 before reaching 32.

As a lvl 32 I do not feel like wasting my heavy ammo synthesis to help a team of 31's beat Crota on hard because they don't want to spend the time to become 32. It's so easy to become level 32. I will help a team of 31s through the normal Crota raid and teach them the ropes though. I actually have done that a lot.

the difference between 31 and 32 is actually more prudent in normal then it is on hard as you do more damage and take less damage the closer to level you are to the enemies with special buffs kicking in if you are to low or high. a 32 will take more and deal more damage to a 32 enemy than a 33 or a 31 so the difference between a 31 and 32 on hard is hardly a difference at all, in fact this misconception about the 32s being able to take a lot more damage often leads to cocky players getting killed and other times the 32s cockyness gets 31s killed. the only notable difference is that slightly more 32s can survive a 33 knights sword than 31s (more about armor ratting and defense then light)

1 ReplyWhen I was a level 31, I was brutally assaulted by Crota on HM CE. Now, every time I see a level 31 (especially while in HM CE) it reminds me of that horrible experience of when Crota stole my innocence. That is why I hate 31s.

8 RepliesI have 5 main reasons I hate the 31 scum 1. 31s touch our purple ball in the tower. 2. 31s do not kneel when we walk pass. 3. 31s do not clear the path on strikes so we can literally walk through the level. 4. 31s don't dismantle their items when RNG cheats a 32 and gives the 31 better items. 5. 31s do not sacrifice themselves enough so that the 32 can look like the hero.

1 ReplySee your edit 4: This is why I will not raid with 31s I do not know or someone I know has not vouched for. Anyone with raid experience would know the answer. Anyone can get carried through the first 3 drops. It takes a team to beat Crota. The fight is super glitchy and extremely unforgiving. Taking a few people that do less damage in a timed fight is just dumb.

I don't know, but my 32 Warlock hates my 31 Hunter. Probably because my 31 Hunter is such a crybaby when my 32 Titan doesn't take him on Raids.

I don't understand how people aren't 32 at this point. Even if you only have 1 character you should be 32 you've had a lot of time.

I don't hate on 31. I think they're smart not wasting their time leveling up to a level that is completely useless in Destiny. You can do Crota HM on a 31and no other content until June will require a higher level than a 31. At the end of the day, 32 is only here to make you grind the same shitty eris bounties and strike-like raid, a filler between their Iron Banner spam on 2 weeks basis.

31's are usually just 32's leveling new armor...

The only place 32 matters is the Crota hard mode. I don't see them with any advantage in pvp or in the strikes. This isn't an insult to the lvl 32s, it's an insult to bungie for not making the level cap reward higher for them.

I have nothing against 31's, it's not their fault that they have smaller wieners. I kid. In all honesty, in my experience there is very little difference between the two. It all depends on the player behind the 31 or 32.

because why bother being 32 when HoW is going to have a new level cap and better armor. jk, I've been lucky enough to have 32 blade dancers to help me achieve my gear. Thank you for all those patient level 32 Crota dancers for being good to me.
