I just want to make sure, I played someone today with the Bungie logo next to their name much like how the 7th column can be added to the side of your gamertag. Can anyone tell me what it means, I just want to make sure.

It represents a Bungie.net user. Go to Edit Profile and you can get it too.

7th Column = Bungie.net user [B.net abbreviation is reserved for Battle.Net.] BUNGIE logo as pictured at the top of the site = Employee.

If it was the Bungie logo like the one on the top of this page then it was an employee.
-
The septagon is for anyone who activates it. When it actually says bungie next to thier name they work for bungie.
-
You obtain one by having a Bungie.net profile, or something of that sort. If everyone in a party(MM) has one next to their name, you get a "linktacular". Go to "edit your profile", then you should see where to make it visible to everyone. Hope it helps [Edited on 07.23.2008 2:22 PM PDT]

I've never seen that before - sorry. I would expect it is for Bungie employees however.
-
Can you give an example?

You can add it on your Bungie.net profile, go to edit.
