It is awesome for strikes and raids because you don't have to look for ammo and even better when the juggler perk is on. It is worse than the black hammer and longbow In The crucible because every time you die you resspawn with no bullets

I thought it did that for all special weapons regardless, unless I've not been paying attention in the 3 months I've had this game.

You don't lose all you special every time you die if that's what you mean

I use almost all of my special ammo quickly, so that's probably why I have none when I respawn, lol
