[b]It is NOT the best weapon in the game[/b]....there is no best weapon in this game.
[b][i]It is however one of the most useful weapons in the game[/i][/b]....and you should have at least one in your collection for that fact.
You may not use it all the time....but you will find situations that call for it.
People need to stop using this "best" crap when it comes to icebreaker/gally/etc... they are all scrubs to call any one gun/class/item better than anything else...its just flat retarded.

Best by MY definition means Literally that... THE Best. My motto in Destiny is there's a proper tool for a proper job. Example: Your an idiot if you think icebreaker is going to be better off than PR in Void Burn or Longbow Synth. Example: Gally in the same condition better than say Admonisher III (It's like Truth without tracking!! <3) or Truth (One has tracking the other has cluster) Like it or not....there are more expectant ways to take down targets that are hard to fell. Now if we are talking solar burn..than yeah...Icebreaker for the win...duh. Now no one is stopping you from using those tools...but your not entirely efficient about approaching the situation with void burn.

I like to have one type of wep I use for everything if I want one. If I want a sniper I don't want to pick and choose between the 5 snipers or whatever. All about simplicity

Glad somebody finally said it, I just have my prefered weapons and that's about it. I rock my Suros Regime as my main, Longbow or Two to the Morgue, and my heavy is always a toss up between Hezen Vengeance or one of my machine guns.
