in regards to your argument, it can be applied to all classes. You do not need self res locks nor invisible hunters nor defender titans, no class is a must have. However being able to hide in a blinding bubble or self res to save the day or go invis and revive can be useful. No class is useless and there is no master class, it depends on how you play
