I Just Pulled a 14 Inch Hair Out of my Butt! *Updated*
About 10 minutes ago I decided to go to bed(it's 5:03Am here) and as I was just falling asleep I went to itch my butt and I noticed a hair that was unlike any of my hairs so I pulled it out. When I pulled it out I realized it was over a foot long. How did it get in there? Am I going to be ok?
*Update*
I just realized that about 2 weeks ago when I was visiting San Fransisco(I live in Maine) I had a burrito from a local business which had many dirty people in it. What's weird is that I jokingly asked my uncle if I was going to get a butt worm. Obviously he said NO but maybe he was wrong.

Scientists don't have a full name for it yet, because cases of it are extremely rare, and pop up in very small or poor places in the world. If it pops up here, there would be an extreme panic. It's just a parasite. A very fatal parasite. No one recorded by the WHO or the CDC has survived.

i found what you have a pinworm. Pinworms causes stomach issues either they feel empty or no appetite. You said you were scratching when it happens thats a common sign and it was at night they go to the end of the colon at night to lay their eggs all info is hear you will find it at the pinworm section. Well, I''ve looked all over and I haven't seen a pinworm that looks like a hair online yet.

if you read the section near the pinworm it tells you all the symptoms next to the pictures of them in the stomach you have them my friend and you have eggs in you so more on the way i reccomend going to doctor and telling them you have a pinworm probably a beef pinworm. They will direct you to someone who will double check to make sure you have and then they will give you meds to kill them.

Well i looked online to and the way they show them they look more flat but i have seen in real life they look alot like hair kind of weird.

Just be glad it wasnt a pork tapeworm they grow up to 50 feet.. So ya get tested and then if you have what i think they will give you meds. [Edited on 07.22.2008 4:08 PM PDT]

Oh by the way this is very important did you wash your hand imediatly after you pulled it out cause if you didnt eggs could have been on your hand and anything you touched could have eggs on that and if someone touches what has the eggs on it and doesnt wash their hands before they eat they could get it so the same person could get pinworms twice.

I've had hairs in mah butt too. If you eat somrthing containing hair, it comes out the other end. But still 14 inches is impressive!

Well then it was probably a round worm its one of the two they are very similar and are in the same phylum.
