So I accidentally dismantled my murmur....
Is it worth it to complete the mission with a new character?? I'm a level 31 titan and have a level 15 warlock that I have been putting off on leveling up. I had my murmur almost fully upgraded, just missing the rune core from eris

1 ReplyI would do it. Once your Warlock hits 20 doing the Eris missions is nice for the xp boost. Murmur is a good weapon to have when dealing with different types of shielded enemies (switching between Solar and Ark depending on if you are facing Wizards or Knights in Hive content).

I could go either way. I have three Murmurs, but I play three characters. To me it's just okay; the main benefit is it does two elemental damages. I find the charge rate is slow, too slow to be as useful as other, faster (and further shooting) rifles such as the Light of the Abyss. In your situation, I would be leveling that Warlock up anyway. You have no idea what you are missing! In the course of play you're going to get it back, AND you'll have a great raid character, AND you'll have double the chances of picking up a truly great fusion rifle.

You can get that 15 to 20 in a matter.of hours. Going into Friday, I had a 14 warlock. He's 28 now. Just have rare or legendary (and one exotic if have) and pop those on when hit 20. The Eris stiff is only another few hours. Look at it this way: grind through it, get your murmur, and you'll have one extra char for exotic chance in nightfall each week.

Why ask in here? You used it...it's not that hard to get another one in the process of leveling up another character, so just make a freakin decision on your own because it's appropriate thing to do in this situation!

I don't think it's worth it anymore having a fully upgraded foil and near full LotA

Light of the Abyss is better in the context of the raid because of Hive Disruptor and Crowd Control. However, if you don't have one and we are speaking just for general play then yes, get another one with your alt. Always better to have options.

Yeah its nice to have the damage option. It's a very good fusion.

Yeah, it's worth it. Besides, it's fun leveling up a second or third character. Especially if they're a different class.
