Can't find any legendary gear
I've been playing Destiny since it came out and I can't get past level 24... Why? Because anytime I pick up a piece of legendary defense it's for the wrong class. And my friend comes along and buys destiny like last week and picked up 2 now he's level 26... Wth bungie?!?

1 ReplyVangaurd rank 2 as well as crucible. Xur is by far one of the quickest ways to build your exotics collection up (not as of lately though lol) I would def recommend running crucible for like a day straight. It's fun, you gain rep while you play, and you still have a small (very small) chance of getting a legendary or exotic drop after each game. Good luck man!

How often do you play? You should easily have a 31 by now, you need to not rely on drops and buy your legendary/exotic gear. The legendary drops will come with time but it is not fun using those as your only source.

F you have been playing that much, you should've purchased gear from the vanguard. Your marks max out at 200 so if you don't spend them, you won't be able to accumulate more. Dude! I had my character decked out with three legendary and one exotic armor piece in three weeks!

The easiest way to obtain gear to level up is to rank up your vanguard rank and buy the gear that can get you to level 31.
