Now that Xûr has sold Light Beyond Nemesis
Now that Xûr has sold light beyond nemesis, there should be no reason why warlocks (myself included) should not be able to have full health at Crota, on hard. Even before, there was barely any excuse, but now there really isn't one. If you don't have it, buy it. It's one of the best warlock exotic armor pieces
Edit 1: I was saying there are no excuses now for people. I wasn't saying there weren't other helmets, and I wasn't saying that there were no abilities to be able to heal (I used life steal even before i got this helm). But now, people have absolutely no excuse in CE hard. Its as easy as picking up an orb.

8 RepliesThe Red Death does a fine job of keeping me alive, and I'm generally not the first to die. I'm usually the last to die, or I was killed by the oversoul. When I play on my Warlock, my playstyle becomes less reckless and more defensive. I don't need a helm that will only serve me during this raid. I'd rather have it drop during a Nightfall. I wouldn't have to waste strange coins on it then.

1 ReplyI agree that there's really no excuse for Warlocks, though I don't think it's one of the best Warlock exotic armor pieces...I prefer Veil to it, personally, for the raid, and Obsidian Mind for fun. Bump for the intent, though.

1 ReplyI had one and dismantled it for the shard a couple of weeks after the DLC. Sure it is cool looking and all but it really has very limited uses. There are many other exotic armors that have better and more useful perks. Until the day when you can use more than one (which no doubt is never) it is not worth buying (or using).
