Sorry for the slow chapter. It's not my best but it is needed to develop my characters a little. Again I apologize its a little bad.
Chapter 4
Bear and I stood there speechless.
“You’re Wolf?” I said. “But you’re a girl.” I nervously scratched the back of my head.
“And you’re point is?” Wolf took out her knife and began to scrape the blood off of it.
“Well, we thought you were a… well I mean, ya know a…” I began to sense that I had made a grave mistake.
“A boy? Yes I get that a lot. Especially from boys. Quit standing there like an idiot and make yourself useful,” She pointed to Bear who was still standing there awkwardly. Then she turned back to me. “So what I’m hearing is that you don’t think a girl could be as good a guardian as you?” Wolf stood up and held up her now gleaming knife to my throat. “Because if that’s the case, then we’re gonna have a big problem.” She then smiled at me. I never knew a smile could hold so much contempt.
“No, uh no problem here. Girls are cool.” I gave my best smile. She took her knife away from my throat.
“Perfect, we’ll get along just fine then.” She walked away as I stood dumbstruck. Who was this person to wink into existence and save our butts. Then turn around and do this. Was this really Wolf? Was this really the person we came here to rescue but ended up rescuing us?
I had seen Wolf threaten Jack and was about to approach the conflict before I thought better of it. I had a feeling that she could take both of us down with immense ease. I began to walk away when Wolf stepped in front of me. I jumped. How did I know she could move so quietly?
“Okay Guardian, what’s your name?” She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.
“Bear.” I said. She stuck out her hand for me to shake.
“Good to meet you Bear. You’re friend over there was having a hard time grasping the fact that I’m a girl. Are we going to have a similar problem?”
“Nope. No mam.”
“Good.” With a swirl of her cloak. She turned away and began to roll out a bedroll that her ghost had summoned. Diadom materialized in front of me.
Well, that was… different. She sure doesn’t like being overlooked by boys does she?
“No she certainly doesn’t.” At that diadom summoned my bedroll and I began to lay it out. Jack walked up behind me and laid out his bedroll too. I began to take off the outer layers of my armor until I was left with the skintight jumpsuit that normally lay hidden under the beefy armor I wore.
“And don’t worry about the Copperheads.” My heart skipped a beat at being snuck up on so easily. “ their scans don’t penetrate this thick ice around us.” I looked around. Indeed the ice did seem thick. The cave itself was enormous; with a 20 foot high ceiling and walls coming down in a dome shape. It really was the perfect hiding place. But one thing worried me. There were no exits.
“How do you get out?” Echoing the same thought in my head, it was the first time Jack had spoken since his encounter with Wolf. She looked at him, and grinned.
“Same way we got in.” I could tell Jack was feeling awkward.
“You mean that blink thing that you did?”
“No. I can’t blink. I do something else. I step into the void and come out the other side wherever I want. I learned it from studying the Copperheads.”
“Which are what exactly?”
“The same things you fought outside after you landed. You got lucky. There were only Minors and a couple of Wipedrives.” Seeing the blank looks on our faces she decided to explain. “Minors are the humanoid looking things. Wipedrives are the floating mechanisms that produced the illusion of that wounded dreg.”
“And those were the weak ones? We barely survived!” Jack was getting into his hothead mode.
“Yes, those were the weak ones. Stop being a baby and take it like a man. Or are you already doing that?” She made a pouting face. I couldn’t help but grin a little bit.
“What? Did you just…? Uh..” I couldn’t take it anymore. I burst out laughing. To my surprise Wolf did too.
With a huff, Jack slipped into his bedroll and turned onto his side. He was red in the face. I chuckled a bit then got into my bedroll too. I turned back to see that Wolf had gone. She too was getting to sleep. Jack shivered from the cold. I heard Wolf,
“Wimp”

I like it, as you've read in my I state blink being different for warlocks and hunters but I like this too, it would make sense another group came from the void. This is good thigh, I can't wait for the next.
