Please explain how Xur selling Gally would break the game
I honestly think, for some bizarre, unbeknownst reason, bungie is listening to the million and one threads from people saying if Xur sold gally it would unleash hell.
Please - if you think Xur selling gally would break the game. Tell me how?

That statement is beyond stupid.
VOG is done in two teleports with ice breakers and weapons of light. As far as I know a team hasn't done it in one teleport so what does it matter whether a team uses gally instead of ice breaker?
And crota... Gally is not essential in any way. Hunger of crota isn't as powerful but 6 rockets will down him. 6 gally's is just overkill. I would personally prefer to keep my exotic slot open too.

For those that say this... Do you currently think they're hard? Black hammer is a far quicker way of killing most of the strike bosses. Besides, they're not difficult. Gally [i]may[/i] shave a minute off the total time but that's nothing to go berserk about.

If by earn you mean killing a level 5 dreg in skywatch who dropped a heavy legendary engram which turned Into Gally then I think it's safe to say we've all done enough to earn several gally's...
We all do nightfall regularly. We all do the raid regularly. Some people simply received gally whilst others received dragons breath or truth. Get off your high horse. You're no better than the other teammates who helped you finish that mission...
If you can find an argument against selling it that I can't switch around then I'll carry you through a nightfall next reset whilst you can go off and have dinner or something.

Xur should not exist, can't believe Bungie created a vendor selling the best class items in the game.. So much more incentive would be in the game if he never sold that shit. You people crying and complaining to bungie that xur should sell it are not realizing that xur should not even be there... If people instantaneously don't get what they want they complain because bungie has already provided you with exotic weapons and armor for completing a dam weekly event for strange coins. Ridiculous you people get on here & complain about what xur is selling and isn't selling.

1 ReplyIt wouldn't. They are leaving that carrot out there for some so they never leave. I've watched teams with 5 ghorns struggle at Crota for hours. It's not the weapons, it's the guardian.

1 ReplyI have the gjallarhorn and I don't think xur should sell it. But I don't think it should be a drop gun either. (How I got mine) I think the gjallarhorn, icebreaker, hawkmoon and other really good exotic weapons should be got threw super hard bountys. That way it would have to be earned

4 RepliesThe Gally is one of the only items that some hardcore players don't have, myself include. It's the only reason I keep coming back to destiny every week is a shot at the Nightfalls and raids to maybe get myself one. Once I have it my interest will fade immensely

2 RepliesI have ghorn and it seriously isn't the best rl in the game. It has best single target dps. It's a situational weapon. It won't break anything. The new generation just likes to feel special and keeps making these stupid threads about it.

I just wanna point out the fact that a full team of Gjallarhorns killed Atheon in 17 seconds. Also, Gjallarhorn would probably fall victim to a nerf, just like all the other OP weapons Xûr as sold us.

I don't think it will break the game, but I have personally killed atheon in one teleport with a full team of gjallarhorns. Though I don't mean to argue, I don't like seeing false information :)

I don't know if we will ever see it sold again. But if your implying that it was removed from Xur's loot table, your retarted. But I agree it SHOULDN'T be sold, but that's not to say it CAN'T be sold. Open to debate.

Fact is if everyone was running around with gjallarhorn it wouldnt be unique, also everyone would be using it on raids. Atheon would be killed in 1st teleport, crota would be killed in 2 swords. That would leave this game with no challenge and would force bungie to nerf it in someway. I know you're just crying because you don't have a gjallarhorn but you can't get everything you want that's life. Your time will come and it will drop for you someday you just gotta keep playing for it everyday. Trust me the amount of joy from getting something you don't have from a drop is 1000x better than just buying it from xur.
