Dude, I will be amazed if human civilization survives the next 100 years without degrading into a climate change induced Mad Max post-apocalyptic wasteland, so I'm not too worried about what the sun might do in a few billion years.

Uh oh....someone drank the Kool Aid. They said that same thing about us today. Shit, Al Gore said our polar ice caps would be completely melted in the summer of 2015.

Couple of things, climate change is more than just whether or not we have ice caps. And the Al Gore quote is posed as a hypothetical, not a definite, "could" instead of "would." Also, the only reason there was a northwest passage for those sailors to get stuck in is because the ice had melted to the point where it was open. Three, if you're going to try to convince me that climate change isn't real, you should probably make sure the links you send don't also contain biblical references...

Talk about a denier... Not trying to convince you of anything. Just showing exactly what he said. In his [i]Nobel Prize speech!![/i] But please recall that the entire foundation of the climate change scare tactic is predicated on the loss of polar ice. Tell us how reliable was Dr Mann's famed 'hockey stick'? Please also note that not one single prediction based on climate modeling has yet proven correct. Only a few decades ago there was a similar scare: THE ICE AGE IS COMING!!!!

The Hockey Stick graph? The one that every major scientific study has backed up? Pretty reliable, I guess. All you have to ask yourself is, "who profits from climate change skepticism?" But whatever, it snowed for 20 minutes this morning, so I guess climate change is a hoax, or something. My bad.

If we DO, world geopolitical status as we know will be COMPLETELY different. If we survive, a Star Trek (look it up) type society, or a Starship Troopers (the book, not the dumb movie) type society is my prediction.
