PS4 scratched a ring in my destiny disk
My ps4 became faulty and scratched my destiny disk, and put slight rings in the disc. I sent my ps4 back to playstation and they have sent me a new one but now it won't get past 50% of transferring game data! Any way of getting past 50% without having to buy the game again?

2 RepliesThose rings don't usually effect the game. Besides, generally the game will load on your system and then it will just check the disk to make sure it's there, not really loading info off it. Idk if this suggestion is legal, so check before you do it lol. Obviously if it is I don't condone it- but there's a lot of software out there that can read damaged disks fairly easily on a computer. You may be able to just copy it to your computer and burn a new one. Never tried it with PS4 games, but may be worth a shot. Or, try contacting PlayStation again and they may give you a code to download the game.

1 ReplyCould try buying a disc repair kit, but make sure to research and get what works best. That's if the scratch is the issue.
