4th Horseman, Am I Missing Something?
I got the 4th horseman from Ir Yut the other day. Am I missing the reason this is considered an exotic?
Yes, it fires quickly. It unloads all 5 shots in about a second and a half...and then you spend over 5 seconds reloading.
Yes, it is pretty stable if you nuke the range (even by shotgun standards).
It has normal to low impact for a shotgun, and the main perk only has roughly a 25% chance to return a shell with a kill. So if I kill something with every shot I can expect to get 1 more shell.
Am I missing something? Why on earth would I use this over found verdict which ALWAYS has 6 shots per clip, much higher impact, higher range, and is only a legendary (which frees up an exotic spot)?

Well the thunderer perk originally was actually cool and would have made it a true exotic that I would use in PVE after the shotgun buff and the hammered forged upgrade. Thunderer used to be that all four of its barrels would fire at one. Would be fun after they do 100% more damage to just obliterate anything in front of you.
