who still hasn't beat Crota Hard Mode and why??
I just wanna start a topic the opposite of the "elitist" ones.

1. Can't find a good team
2. Can't get into a good team cause of gun restricts or levels
3. Simply just have groups that can't do it

Edited by Kovathos: 2/13/2015 4:03:24 AMI haven't, why? Eh. Game is boring. I'm mildly interested in the shotgun buff in pve but that's it. nothing new and interesting I haven't done 50+ times. Meanwhile warframe got a revamped spy mission system, new stealth rewards and mechanics, new weapons, bug fixes, etc... Or I can play path of exile which just got an update however minor until the next patch that fixed some actual bugs and improved performance. Or many other games with forced online just like destiny, that are free and add content and fix bugs on a regular basis. Or games like dying light I could play that I still haven't finished with like 80% of the story still left. Sure I could finish leveling up a few pieces of gear I don't much care about among other things but, eh... Destiny is too frustrating to play for how Grindy it is. (Such as waiting forever to get into the tower, needing to go to tower for the way too limiting vault to switch stuff between characters, forced to wait for whomever to stop talking before a mission will start for you, unskippable cutscenes, etc...)

I can't get a good team together. It's never my fault we fail (1/100 times we fail it's my fault). Or we get to Crota then everyone leaves.

I haven't had time lol. I've been working so much that the only destiny I play is stuff I can do within 30 minutes at a time

Quiet crying and raid ur as off with 3 characters of the same or different, and add an exotic to 3 pieces of raid gear until u get to 32

1 ReplyBecause my group sucks, and they all decided to ditch me at the Crota CP. I'm a 31 with a hard Crota CP. Screw me.

There was one point where I was on a team that had no problems using the middle method and would smash out the Ogres super quick, we just failed to get his shield down on that final round during the auto enrage when he has like a spec of health left. That week I also chewed through nearly my entire supply of heavy ammo and I think the idea of having to grind a lot to build up my stock again because Xur wasn't selling any for several week just killed any desire to keep trying. I know of (and use) the heavy ammo exploit, but even that gets a bit grindy after a while, especially if you are wiping often during the fight :/ What I normally do now is go as far as the Deathsinger on hard (because you can 2 man this if you are struggling to get the numbers), and then I just run through normal and invite anyone online to beat Deathsinger (or I just solo it and invite people on during clean up) and try to get at least one lv32 g-horn user or 2-3 others while I be the swordbearer, otherwise I take my time and try beating him solo. I still have only gotten 2 of the normal mode guns he drops (x2 swordbreaker and x5 hunger of crota) and I'm still missing the Titan helmet. I am happy to hold off beating him on hard until the next level cap increase because there might be a chance he will be soloable with a lv33-34 character. Heck, I didn't get the Vex Mythoclast until about a month ago and it is still a gun I prefer to use in normal play over most other guns, I don't NEED hard mode guns, they would just be nice to eventually get (like the Fatebringer *cough*).

I barely play the game anymore, on the off chance I end up reaching 32 I'll run it.
