Not all weapons are raid worthy weapons. Some are just fun, others are useful in narrow circumstances. Necrochasm is a decent weapon but it takes skill, precision damage and submachine gun tactics, keep it close close and tight. Target the center guys and use the explosions to benefit. Grenades, special and heavy weapons, and supers are for high level majors and ultras, not primaries...

I overcome, adapt, and survive. Crying on the forums is not going to make you better players. But if you pop your thumbs out you mouths, practice, leave the childish, self-entitlements in the crib, you will see your mediocre skills improve. Later!! Hehe

All the raid weapons should and have complimented the raid as you are playing it....normal or hard. But this thing I don't think can't even damage spirit bloom.

Raid gear is for the next raid as well. They have current raid perks but are the gear and weapons to run the next normal level raid.

Lol....so the necrochasm being as will help you in house of wolves against even higher level enemies....is you kool-aid laced bro. The thing can't even bring down enemies effectively now. And it's the hardmode exotic drop. Lol. If you have the thing or when it finally drops...test this out..... Go to vanguard roc...and when devils layer or winters run comes up....equip the necrochasm and run with nothing else....point the damn thing at a captain or yellow bar vandal and tell me if this is meant for the next raid. Remember that these strikes will be at what 26-28...lol the next raid is probably what 32 or 33 on normal. Please come in...yes it has a curse thrall explosion radomly...but you gotta kill something first....and here lies the issue. It never kills anything.

If you say it is a skill thing, and use great precision and tactics, why wouldn't you just do that with a better gun and maximize your DPS and tactical output. As of right now, the gun is pointless, but maybe they make something in HoW that this gun will work well against... I don't know.

Yes they will include some other crazy drop that you will need to grind for another 2 months to get and beat hardmode HoW after another 6-8 hours..... And it will only change the color of the bullets from lime green to barney purple....thanks for playing!!!

It's fun to use, when doing patrols and bounties but I've used it in the raid a few times, unless it's a normal raid and you're not too pivotal a role, it'll do, but you're right, there are many better more powerful weapons, well at least weapons that kill much faster and require less precision.

What's the point in using an endgame...exotic raid drop for only patrols and bounties. It more exciting playing the hardmode vault from start to finish with nothing but no land beyonds....a rare shotgun....and a unfriendly giant. You might as well be walking around with a basket of arc damage apples

I agree with you though on choosing a better gun. Good point. Hands down I beleive they hit a home run with the abyss....solid rifle....balanced. and choice of hip fire or precision perks. Put that into the necro....along with maybe vanguisher damage would be a step in the right direction

The Necro is the hardest weapon to acquire. It has more Damage than any other weapon. It still lacks more DPS than a cheap uncommon AR. Bursts? A high RoF Weapon is not made to shoot bursts...thats what a pulse gun is for. And even if you manage to crit every shot, it still lacks Damage. Why should I use an exotic AR as a primary that can only kill low level trashmobs and is useless against any major or ultra instead of a gun that can kill every enemy (HC's, Scouts, decent AR's)? If it's purpose is to make everything harder than with nearly any other primary, then they did a perfect job though.

decent???? not even close. Bad Juju after patch is decent, Up For Anything is decent... Necrochasm being with just low impact and so bad stability is a slap in the face. Now this is before the next weapon patch. Now that they have the excellent ideia to nerf *all* auto-rifles... I don't even care for it anymore
