New class idea...Summoner.

So I'm still bored so I decided to throw this new class idea out there as well.... The Summoner "When one opens their mind far enough, they can tap into the minds of others." Branching off from the warlocks, these guardians were not as interested in studying the Traveler as their brothers and sisters were. Instead they studied the creatures of the Darkness and Void, seemingly becoming one with them. Although they still fight for humanity and the Light, they have set aside their scholar robes for more primal, tribe-like armor, and fight with a savagery that matches. So that was my grimoire description of the class, now I will give 3 subclass ideas, just to cover all the bases... Arc Illusionist "The mind is but electrical signals, signals can be fooled." Super The Summoner envelops their body in electricity, doubling their speed and splitting off multiple copies of themselves to act as decoys. The doubles would take damage as a normal player, but would not be able to deal damage. Jump Phantom Blink The summoner blink jumps with such speed that their image is still in their original location for a split second. Could possibly be upgraded to lose the double image but gain a second blink jump. Grenades Scatter Grenade The summoner throws a cluster of grenades that cover an area, but only one of them is real. Arcflash Detonator A sticky grenade that can stick to enemies and be manually detonated by hitting the grenade button a second time. When stuck to an enemy the grenade indicator dissappears. Melee Uppercut The summoner lunges forward with a violent uppercut swing. Could be upgraded for a blink uppercut that does bonus damage if the target is in the air. Void Shadowbringer "When one dances with the Darkness, one dances among wolves." Super Wolfpack You summon two large wolves from the void that run with you, attacking any enemy that you target. Pretty self explanatory, you get translucent purple wolves, lol. Jump Leap Similar to the double and triple jump, but with a short glide after. Grenades Melee Solar Reclaimer "Like the phoenix, spirits yearn to be immortal." Super Flames of Life The summoner brings forth orbs of light that seek out the remains of the closest enemy and resurrect them to fight by the summoners side. This would be determined by what enemies there are and how many. For example, if you were fighting a lot of Fallen, you would only be able to have say one captain resurrected or 2 dregs or vandals. The super could be setup to automatically go for the most powerful dead enemy in the area. There would of course be certain enemies unavailable to resurrect such as Ultras or Ogres. Jump Glide Upgradable same as warlock, showing the Summoners roots. Grenades Melee I have to go, but I will finish this soon. Thanks for reading and comments and suggestions are welcomed.

  • why not make a super where you make copies of yourself that fire at your enemies every time you use it sort of like trowing a turret but while running around you activate it and ever time you jump or melee it leaves a copy that attacks any nearby enemies with whatever weapon you have in your hands? here is another the i can fix that super, where your damage output is doubled for all weapons, including fire rate and your mag becomes bottomless, modifiers can be to affect all allies in the fire team, or to focus all in one ability such as damage

  • I was thinking about eris morn the other day and how she uses the darkness as a weapon because she was corrupted by it. Then revelation struck and i thought maybe we can have subclasses which use the darkness as a weapon and have a different subclass for each enemy species in the game, so here they are. Warlock subclass Hive breeder: Super- swarm- summon 6 allied thrall ancient curse- summon 3 cursed thrall instead Sworn defender- summon a knight instead Greater bond- improves stats of summoned thrall Grenade- bolt of corruption- throw a hive boomer bolt Sphere of darkness- creates wizard cloud in impact Reanimate- summon 2 allied thrall at location Melee- ravaging claw- killing an enemy heals you Raging blade- if charged twice perform a sweeping sword attack Hive mind- melee an ally to heal and buff them Reuse soul- killing an enemy turns them into a thrall Hunter subclass Fallen angel: Super- call of the kell- you gain increased defense, allies gain increased damage Backup plan- gain an allied fallen sniper as well Reinvigorate- resets timer on all buffs allies or yourself are currently experiencing Powerful speech- reduces cool downs on allies grenades and melee by 80% Grenade- arc bolts- fire three seeking arc bolts in quick succession Shock implant- stick to a surface and detonates on proximity Void river- release a stream of ether dealing continuous damage Melee- taser blade- slows enemy on hit Raging current- killing an enemy causes them to explode Data theft- hitting an enemy gives you a full magazine Shock pulse- teleport through an enemy damaging and stunning them Titan subclass Warmonger: Super- juggernaut- turn into a colossus temporarily Rocket pods- gives you rocket pods as well Rambo- gives you a second minigun at the cost of significantly decreased range and accuracy Heavyweight- lose the minigun in exchange for stonger melee and increased defense and speed Grenade- micro rocket- launch a small rocket Brainwave- releases the psion wave attack Twinade- release two incendiary grenades Melee- shield smack- stuns enemies on hit Kinetic force- inflicts serious knock-back on hit Metal wall- gain increased defence after a hit Spoils of war- kills give you increased chance of ammo dropping Can't decide what class this one should belong to, it is based on the vex Terminator: Super- temporal warp- creates a bubble which slows down enemies and their projectiles whilst speeding up yours Time snap- damages enemies in the field when it collapses Pocket dimension- constantly heal inside the bubble Time shift- press button again before it ends to move it to you Grenade- telefrag- teleport to the location it lands if it directly hits an enemy it deals double damage Warp grenade- sticks to enemies slowing them and exploding after 4 seconds Null grenade- high velocity, really bouncy grenade Melee- temporal shunt - teleports enemy away from you on hit Lockdown- temporarily disables abilities Ethereal lance- melee penetrates enemies Space fracture- kills release axion bolt seekers

      How about this for their jumps: Jumping and then activating the double jump grants them a platform to stand on. When moving in any direction the light platform will act like an elevator and take you up in that direction. You are still able to shoot with the same accuracy angel of light has (I don't know if that has less than normal or more than regular jumping accuracy). While standing still the light platform slowly descends. Specific skills could be: Steeper incline Lesser steep incline for distance Longer active time. More accuracy when standing still if angel of light doesn't provide full accuracy like when standing on the ground. While standing still the light platform does not descend.

    • Suggestions: - Arc super: the decoys will always deploy in a random spot near you but usually won't put you dead center and always go where you go, and they will shoot wherever you are shooting, still dealing no damage. - Void super: you turn into the shadow wolf and become immune to any non-super damage, and it lasts half the total time a golden gun does. - Solar super: unfortunately I don't have an idea but this would have to be changed as it wouldn't really have a use in the crucible because it would be unfair to the enemy players as it would restrict their "right" to play. So far I'd rate 7/10 just because I know that a lot of people tend to stray on the power of the grenades. I look forward to the completed product.
