I have started using the strangers rifle for my second guardian and have noticed its actually good-ish (and is about to get buffed coz its a pulse rifle). If you are good a getting hip-fire head shots, this is a good low level weapon for PVP and some lower PVE levels (mostly patrols, this gun is only a lv16 weapon). In PVP i was able to get quite a few extra kills then i usually do. So if you haven't tried it out yet, its worth a try, im in the progress of upgrading it at the moment, and it has some real good (and affective) upgrades, can have max reload or really high stability or high range, plus has a full-auto perk and a miss-a-shot-and-you-might-get-it -back perk (forgot what its called).
