I love my thorn in crucible, vex too on occasion. Most people that make these posts are just jealous that they don't have the weapons or don't know how to counter them. Neither is that hard to beat in PvP, you just need to know the weaknesses.

i used to think similarly to you, until i considered the list of things that one shot you. Grenades, Supers, Fusions, Snipers, Rockets, well placed shotty rounds. Then i realized that Crucible was intended to be idiot proof, and anyone can roll in at any level and gets kills. Some items help a little more than others sure. You will have much more fun when you remember that skill is a small requirement to this game. Its intended to be a cheese factory, i assume. I entered a cricible match and got cross map murdered by Truths and Ghorns 5 times before i ran into anyone.

I think any full auto shotgun, with Titan striker, and thorn has to be the best close setup.

meh, I wouldn't put vex with thorn. vex falls of quickly in both damage and accuracy.

If there are people who do better than you, than thats your problem for dying so much, not the weapons. Nobody is going to take a nerf request seriously from someone with an average .9 kd. If you were good, you'd have some validity. Unfortunately, you arent. Quit crying, take some responsibility for your poor play, and learn how to compete.

Both are easily taken care of. Consider their strengths and weaknesses: > Vex: good for close to mid range if running extended mag. Thorn, fatebringer, sniper, VoC, or any scout can win this one. If needing to take on at close range, I highly recommend using TLW. It wins nearly every time if used properly. > Thorn: great at long range (until nerf). Get in their faces with TLW and they will be an issue no longer.
