Why I've never completed the Hard Raid.
"I'm Zenitrox and I would love some help with the raid."
I've never been able to complete the Hard Raid despite being 32 with a Maxed Gjallahorn, Red Death and Ice Breaker.
( AND PLENTY OF OTHER EXOTIC WEAPONS, but these are the only ones that matter, besides Suros, which I have, but not maxed, check my grimore. )
I have soloed the Lamps and Bridge on Hard Mode multiple times due to getting left out of the team I used to regularly run with every week, nothing wrong with me as far as I can tell at least. I stay quiet and do as I'm told, yet one thing or another and I'd get booted for a 31 due to personal ties NOT THAT 31s CANT RUN THE RAID, and no it was not because that 31 was a bearer, my connection would give out or the team would be full of people who wouldn't stop blaming each other leading to disbandment.
I have 40+ Heavy Ammo Synthesis with me right now, I've wasted at LEAST 50+ trying to beat Crota on Hard Mode, only to find people leaving after one wipe due to some kid dying by ogres because he wasn't paying attention. People make mistakes! Every picky player I've seen who is good with the sword doesn't seem to get this!
I've never died, once, from doing the hard raid, on the Crota part at least. ( not counting from oversoul of course, lol )
I don't even want that much from the Hard Raid, the shader is all I want, and if RNG bless it, the Helmet. I've gotten the Abyss Defiant and Oversoul Edict many times, and I'm satisfied with that.
Last thing I might as well mention,
The one time I was so close to beating it
We were on the last sword, my connection gave out and they beat it with 5 people.
Didn't get any rewards obviously. You can ask LastxHero10, the guy who was kind enough to invite me to run it with him and the entire team he ran it with.

1 ReplyCould be worse, how about getting kicked from every raid team because one of their friends gets on or getting kicked as soon as they find out you have a disability (sometimes I have problems jumping aiming and shooting all at the same time. Missing two fingers on my right hand)

I can run sword on my titans and complete it but then I find people who just can't stay alive. I have yet to complete hard mode on my Hunter because its stuck at 31. It's satisfying when Crota does but so aggravating finding competent people to do so. Good luck! Hopefully so good people will volunteer instead of the bad players who just think they are good....

I'd be willing to help, I have around 20 or so Hard Crota completions. I've had good teams and bad teams, communication is usually what causes wipes. I've had full teams of 32s that couldn't beat it and teams in which I was the only 32 that only took one or two tries before completing it. I have a feeling that your connection is the root cause of you not being able to complete the Hard Raid. Lag makes Hard Crota nearly impossible at times. The sword will disappear, Wolfpack rounds won't work, Crota will stand up early, Crota will skip animations, Swordbearer won't leave the door and all sorts of odd things will occur in a laggy Crota raid. I have yet to do crota hard either. It is starting to annoy me. I get in a group and once we get to crota seem to hit a wall. I mean I thought we had it once. One goof up though and it went down the drain. I am on PS4. If anyone needs help with crota on hard I will always help. I may switch to my other characters that are 31 for the first stages but I want a win on crota hard this week.
