One of Seven mailsack. No Destiny Questions Allowed
To the lucky seven -
I hope you all have a blast, and don't reveal anything to us that you don't want to. No pressure here to answer anything, but i think the community hasquestions that are NOT DESTINY RELATED, about what its like to be a one of seven.
Do you feel more connected to the community now than you were before?
Knowing how much you have/will be harassed in the future, do you secertly wish someone else found the tickit in a swag bag.
What are the tickits made of?
Does anyone in your family understand the awesomeness, or do they think your a huge nerd.
Are you afraid you'll end up like Violet (the blueberry girl from willy wonka)?

Thanks to the Ones of Seven who responded. I think the community is in good hands with you. If the seventh is already banned, I feel like that should make his/her tickit void, or they should un-ban that person after the visit. I dunno, it just seems weird that we don't have all seven accounted for.

Our 7th being is a complete cipher. Rumor has it he/she was booted from the forums, but we've been flooded with fakes over the last year. Honestly, I may have denied the actual Seventh by accident in one of my mass delete join request moments. That did happen with another of the Seven, but PM's fixed the situation. Personally, I hope the Seventh is a chick, because right about now (no offense boys) we're pretty well skewed towards the roosters. Guests would have to be approved by Bungie. We really haven't gotten any concrete details or dates, so it's all up in the air still. For very understandable reasons, Bungie is being zipper-lips about any extra details. The terms and conditions said that only 17 and up would be allowed to participate, and that if they weren't at age of majority by the time the ticket was redeemed, it would require parental permission. I don't recall seeing anything about parental supervision, but I'd have to read it again. The phone call was phenomenal. I thought it was a prank call at first, since I didn't think it could be true that Marty could or would possibly ever call me himself. I even asked if it was a prank call. After RTX and the hundreds of business cards I passed out, it wouldn't have surprised me. I can pretty gleefully say that it was not a prank call, and that Marty and DeeJ were both very wonderful individuals with a great sense of humor. Best recovery from post-convention blues EVER. I don't get fangirly very often, but over Martin O'Donnell, I can be a complete idiot and smile while doing so. Amazingly enough, he didn't mind. At Halo Fest, I never got a chance to get my soundtracks signed because I was working the whole time as a Enforcer for PAX. The phone call made up for that 150%. See? Just thinking about it has me going all silly fangirly all over again. Sheesh.

[/quote] 1. I have always loved this community..I haven't always been on the boards but I have been an avid Bungie fan since Halo came out. From there I branched out and got into everything that I could that was Bungie. It's great to feel so connected and yes, I do feel more connected than usual. I just try to put myself in everyone else's shoes...I know that I would want to know as much as humanly possible about what was going on and it sucks that some of it has to be held under wraps but I am sure it's for the greater good of Bungie World Domination. I honestly look forward to the hype passing and just being a regular old member again posting here like I have been since i joined. 2. I about pooped my pants when I saw that ticket..can't say that I'd have it any other way. I don't mind the questions because I know I'd be asking the same dang thing! 3. Like the other guys said, they are printed on sturdy golden embossed material. It has a slight shimmer to it which looks awesome under the light..I am totally going to frame this thing when this is all said and done with. 4. This is where I consider myself blessed. My wife is a huge Bungie/Halo fan and we play almost every night when I get home from work (her GT is PWNEDbyBarbie) lol. Her sister and her father play too so they ALL are super excited for me. We actually celebrated Bungie Day together and all played Reach for most of the night at her father's house. I feel lucky to have this ticket...and even luckier to have a wife and family that is just as amped about it as I am. 5. I hope I don't end up like Violet...but I guess I could take getting shot out of a giant slingshot...I probably shouldn't touch anything much love guys

I don't actually know that yet. I don't think we would be able to take guests just for the hell of it. 2. I unfortunately wasn't able to answer the call because my bladder betrayed me and I was in the bathroom, and I didn't think about taking my phone with me. At least now the message is saved for all of eternity on my phone. 3.There's only six of us in the group, but if I recall didn't the last guy get banned from the forums or something? [/quote] 1) I don't really feel more connected than before. While I'm not as active on forums as a number of people here, I enjoy lurking, and I do a lot of in real life interactions. You can usually find me volunteering for PAX, RTX, or any number of small conventions, which keeps me connected not just to the Bungie community, but to the gaming community at large. 2) Harassment doesn't bother me, although I did have an oh-crap-not-the-spotlight moment when I first read the terms and conditions of the One of Seven contest. Being the person to blow this open to the community was pretty embarrassing at first. I generally don't like to brag or show off, but I'm very happy that the folks of Bungie were not only very understanding, but also pretty jovial about it. Hearing that some of them even liked it was even better. 3) Unicorn kisses, Leprechaun tears, rainbows, and cosmic star dust. I'm not even joking. It is so subtly shiny and prismatic that there absolutely must be at least one gram of each in it. 4) My extended family thinks I'm a huge nerd, but luckily I'm the mom of the household, so I get to be super nerd mom and everybody else can just suck it. My son is a ball of super gaming joy and energy, but he's autistic and I can't really explain things to him the same way as you guys. I always bring him back nerdy cool items from conventions, like a Grifball plushie from RTX, and Grunt plushies from Halofest, so he gets the idea that mama does something with gaming people everywhere. Let me tell you, that kid may not be able to hold a "normal" conversation, but he can seriously shoot his way through some Halo. 5) No.
