Goodbye strange coins and motes

For yet another week in a row, that snake-faced bastard Xûr has left behind his heavy ammo. Given the status of upcoming updates to how heavy ammo works, whether it be loss upon death, or a desperate lack of drops, I believe Xûr's inventory is not random. I also believe this turn of events ibdicates a future injury to players and a weight of excess materials to soon be lifted off our backs. We may be about ti lose our stockpile of coins and motes. This is purely speculation based on the past of Destiny, Bungie's habits, and things I have observed. Bungie know we have a big stock of stramge coins, and maybe even more motes of light. They know there is not enough content to keep us spending. Instsad, we will save up and wait for an opportunity to cash in en masse. Before the engram changes, they saw we were saving purples to cash in after the update. Naturally, to prevent the players from getting ahead, they warned that stockpiled purple engrams were to be converted to blues. Why would the heavy ammo situation be any different? Players are stocking coins to cash in on heavy ammo. A heavy ammo "fix" is on the way. They cannot let us have hundreds of heavy synthesis ready to go once they repair the ammo loss and drops. There will be no warning this time. Destiny is proud of their finance (glimmer) structure and wants heavy to be a high cost item. They expressed they want us to pay 900 glimmer per pack and implied an intent for us to be pained when we use it. Bungie will reset our stock of coins. Bungie knows there is a fault in their game design, so it will be an unannounced and phased occurrence. Likewise, they know that motes of light are virtually dead content (IB rerolls aside). I am certain they will make another use for them. When new exotics are released and Xûr carries an engram, I know people who will buy upwards of 20 engrams just to get that one item immediately. Bungie does not want this. That is why they designed the engrams to have their outcome determined upon purchase instead of redemption. Bungie will reset our stock of motes of light. Once again, I expect an unannounced and gradual event. My biggest goal in posting this specualtion is that I will have players who have experience strange coin of mote of light loss to come forward and post. One friend of mine went from 200 motes to 2 upon logging in, and I have heard of someone else close to my players circle losing coins. So, please, feel free to crucify me, or just give your thoughts and feelings.
