Destiny Conspiracy - Are We Evil??
If you look at the Ghost Fragments I forgot which one it is, it's either under the Fallen, or Earth. But I specifically remeber reading one and it was a conversation between a Ghost and a couple Dregs.
The Ghost was blackmailing the dregs, saying if they didn't listen then he'd have 10 Titans crashing in their roof. And if you think about it, we basically listen to our ghost like a dispatch, so it would make sense.
I personally, believe we're some type of post apocalyptic military police force.
Which brings up a couple more theories that I think majorly tie in.
Most of civilization was wiped out by something when boarding the ships, we find that out pretty early in the game. Ok, well in the Dark Below DLC. The Warmind is told to be capable of such things. And that's why your ghost tells you to go defend it from the Hive***
I think the speaker/traveller is responsible for powering up the Warmind and nuking humanity, so he could have the ghost revive them and turn them into his own army.
I've always kinda thought we were evil ever since I noticed the names of characters in this game.
We are "Hunters" Titans" and "Warlocks"
Which falls under the evil side of names wouldn't you say?
We kill "Knights" "Wizards" & even "Priests" so from the abundance of context clues.. We are pretty damn evil if I do say so myself...

Edited by The Score Keeper: 1/21/2015 4:18:18 AMFor info on the grimoire card you are referring to [spoiler]That card is called city age 2 and it's not a ghost mocking two dregs it's two people from the gun manufacturer tex mechanica (makers of the last word and other guns) and it's not a ghost it's most likely a frame (the other robot servants in the tower broom bots, postmaster, etc...) the two tex mechanica workers are asking Shaxx (he runs the crucible),but instead talk to a frame who works for Shaxx, to fix the crucible scores to make those who use tex mechanica weapons/armor win to make that gear look good.[/spoiler] Actually the traveler is evil and all the enemies in the game are past civilizations that it has visited like us. But it later abandoned them because the past one he visited started attacking. [spoiler]Spoiler may contain some speculation!!! Traveler visits cabal Leaves for what ever reason Traveler visits vex (cabal fight vex on Mars) Cabal attack traveler leaves Traveler visits fallen (vex fight fallen on Venus) Vex attack traveler leaves Traveler visits hive (fallen fight hive on moon and earth) Fallen attack traveler leaves Traveler visits humans etc...[/spoiler] The warmind Rasputin (the one you're referring to) actually shot the traveler to cripple it and keep it from leaving (look at how the damage on the traveler is on the bottom and not on the top or the side almost like something on Earth hit it and not something in space. Odd right?). It also seems like the speaker and others don't like the traveler either because once you beat the main story line you hear the speaker say that the traveler is a broken god and they need to stop cowering under it. Also, think about how reluctant the queen and Crow (the queens brother for all you not in the know) were to help you beat the black garden.
