Too late for VOG normal?
Okay, this a bit of a rant with an overall question. Is it too late to play VOG on normal? I did it once about 2 weeks ago by luck, when some cool dudes I did the weekly with offered to carry me through. But since then, every time I try to get on a team, it just ends up bad. I get invited by players who spend 20 minutes making a team, then when they finally open their fireteam they end up being level 27 noobs who make a high level person fire team leader, and expect to be carried through Hard Mode. Which of course backfires and turns to a big waste of time.
Even when I use most of my 140 characters on LFG sites thoroughly explaining I DONT want HARD mode, I get a bunch of invites for, you guessed it, HARD MODE. I see plenty of rants here, other sites, and in chat parties of people complaining about non-experienced people expecting to be carried through Hard Raids, and I really don't want to be "that guy". However I am starting to see why that happens or appears to happen. I just have no luck getting on a team for Normal. It seems to be really hard to find a team of 6 willing to play VOG Normal.
I completely get why high level players prefer doing level 30 raids. You simply get better rewards that week. I get it, and respect that. Just wondering if it is possible to get a team going for Normal so I can get that hands on experience before graduating to Hard Mode? Should I just keep trying, or just invest that time in watching youtube then pretending like I know what I'm doing on the Harder setting? What are your thoughts?
BTW: I'm a level 31 Hunter with all my equip weapons MAXED (Another NITC /Up for Anything, Plan C/Invective, MG18A Harms Way). I can play this game well, I just don't know enough about how the raids are done. (PS4)

I've played since this game has launched and 1 thing I have learned is make FRIENDS. Once u make friends b friends with their friends once u do that u will have no problem finding a fireteam. I made a new character got to lvl 23 last week and 5 of my friends took my new character through the vault for the first time...but remember it's a 2 way street when they need help I come I would help but on the 360 best of luck to u

I wish I could help, but I'm in the same boat! for PS3. I've been lvl 30 for ages but have never found a group to run through Crota and VOG on normal. I have seen numerous parts of both, but never from beginning to end as I'd prefer. I even tried Desting LFG and got nothing. If you happen to find out, let me know.
