Who is genuinely still loving Destiny?
I've been playing since the beta and since Launch, have played every day but one.
I work full time and I'm engaged/live with my fiancé so my sleep has taken the hit.
I've not enjoyed a game this much for a very long time and I'm curious as to who in the community feels the same :)

Love it... It's like crack! I use to be i bed by 10 every day now it's 12 and 1am.... The horror the next day! LoL

Used to love getting on to play but now it's starting to feel more like a chore and less for playing. I no longer feel like I'm having fun when I play and instead feel like I'm just trying to keep up with everyone else, even though I could stop playing for a year and catch up to everyone in a week because of Bungie's shitty progression system.

You know I'm suprised that even with all that is wrong with destiny I just love playing. I love the game play for both pve and pvp. Overall it is a 10/10 in fun factor

Basically the same. Married, 12 month old son, work 40 hours a week. My sleep has been the thing taking the back seat for Destiny. Still can't stop playing.

With a fire team for NF or Raid, it's fun. Going solo for bounties and glimmer grinds, not so much. I'm on the fence still but I'll play it to pass the time and keep up to date with the weekly stuff. After that if my clan isn't on then I'll go to Diablo. I was super invested in the beginning, but now it's just the game I play until the game that I think is F'N UHmazing is released. Fingers crossed...Skyrim sequel.

I enjoy the game when playing with friends, but lately none of friends been playing so it's not as enjoyable as before.

I only picked up game to practice the double jumps and whatever for CoD AW back in early October. Played cod for a week been hooked ever since. Played everyday since but 1. Also have kids/wife job so needless to say the gym, getting 8 hours sleep is now no gym 5 hours sleep and still a sleepy happy guy. Be happier if I could get a friggin gjallarhorn.

1 ReplyIf I was able to get more Raiding opportunities to fit with my filthy scrub gaming time then I would be as happy as a pig in poo. as it is I am seeing if getting 3 characters to level 31 before next dlc is enough motivation. Not sure that by itself is. There is only so much running around with a level 31 character you can do before asking why you are doing it. Have started to put myself about a bit more in the Raid section to try & rectify my initial observation. No fault of the game's though. I am basically a yes.

I bought it mid October and haven't put it down, I bought GTA V for XB1 and have played it twice, I have played minecraft when Live has been screwed up but other than that I'm all destiny, trying to max all my weapons now about to erase a hunter and start a Titan, so I don't see my playing time slowing down anytime soon...

1 Replysame for me. i dont think i grind as much as used to. before i always wanted all my weapons maxed out, but now since the dlc i dont really care anymore. my 2.0 truth , P&T, and thunderlord are still sitting near bone stock. i also dont care for lvl 32 either, i mostly want to do the raid for fun and guns. i much more prefer now to get gear that i like for style and appearance, im fine with lvl 31. lately ive been having a lot of fun playing iron banner though, its a nice change of pace since i never do PVP outside of the banner.

But I do it almost religiously evreyday wake up in the morning make some tea. Drink the tea, burn my tongue, cuss out. Swear that I am never drinking g tea again. And what am I doing the next morning. Drinking tea. Just like tea, Destiny is not a game, it's not enjoyable. It's addictive it pulls you in close and slaps you in the face but you keep crawling back expecting a different result. Sometimes the tea is so good. Destiny drops the exotic you want or you get the raid helmet and the black hammer on the same run. And your hope is restored. But the next day tour tongue is burnt again and you get 8 ascendant shards from the nightfall. And 2 from the legendary engram that dropped for you. But you will still drink tea and still play destiny Destiny is a lifestyle.

1 ReplyI have been playing since launch and I genuinely enjoy the game (even thought RNG hasn't blessed me with the G-Horn) I play at least 2 hours a day everyday and I'm proud of its.

I still have plenty of fun doing the same ole things. I recently fell in love with the Tower scout rifles (Badger, Rapier & BLine) and cant wait to compare all 3 at max. For those of you that might be on PS4 with a VIta you should give remote play a try. I enjoy casually strolling on patrol and doing bounties and public events and then having a show / movie to watch at the same time. Offers a good balance of casual gaming time as well as the raid/weeklies time when I pick up the controllers.

Sometimes I turn my ps4 on to see no one on my friends list playing and then turn it off. It's been a while since I've gotten a nightfall or a raid done. I still love the game though but without friends to play with its much less fun.
