What are your views on slut shaming?
Personally I don't understand or care enough about the topic to make a valid point but what are your thoughts on slut shaming flood?

I don't have to explain, justify, or alter my personal life to meet the standards or requirements of anyone else, and I don't believe that anyone else should have to either (or that they should be labeled/ridiculed if they do). If someone is more or less active than you (or than you wish that you could be), then so what? You're only in control of your own actions and the activities of someone else are not your concern.

Everybody would sleep with as many people as possible if they could. The problem is certain people aren't attractive to others. Which doesn't allow them to do it. Everybody would be a slut if they could. Don't deny it.

Not a fan of the practice. There's nothing wrong with having a sexually active lifestyle. There's nothing wrong with having an abstinent lifestyle. Just stop shaming, period. It's a waste of breath and nothing constructive comes from it

Don't care. Sluts are good or bad depending on your situation. And I hope we are taking both guys and girls because if it's just girls yeah I think that's hypocritical to say the least.

Being fat is bad. Being ignorant is bad. Being a drug addict is bad. Being an alcoholic is bad. Being a criminal is bad. Being a slut is bad. Abortion is on a middle ground... Don't really have an opinion on that. Being a murderer is still bad, though. Being OP is bad. Being human is bad. Suicide is good, it gets rid of a lot of bad people. You should all give it a try.

I don't really care how many people a woman's slept with. There's no difference between a guy sleeping with 50 people and a girl sleeping with 50 people. Anyone who says otherwise is being sexist and hanging on to outdated stereotypes. So long as you're safe and happy, why does it matter? Sex is fun.

34 RepliesAs far as I'm concerned you're only a "slut" if you've committed yourself to someone and you cheat. If you're not in a committed relationship you can -blam!- whomever you want whenever you want (assuming your partner(s) consent, of course). There's this terrible double standard where if a *straight* man has tons of partners he's praised but if a woman does she's considered scum and it's sexist nonsense.

It's only an issue when they act that way to strike revenge. Highschoolers really shouldn't be acting that way anyways and they will tend to bring the drama on themselves. For the most part I see it as poor behavior as an act of rebellion (the "slutty" people) so when they called out for it they don't like it.
