War Zones?

Hi Guys, Dead Jack had a brilliant idea of bringing some sort of War Zones game play into Destiny. Since there are at least two warring parties on each planet (Fallen and Hive on Earth, Hive and Fallen on the Moon, Vex and Fallen on Venus and Cabal and Vex on Mars). Why not have a feature in-game where you, as a guardian, can fight the different groupings of enemies (Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal.) on each of the planets. It would be a bit like the Patrol feature we have at current where you can walk around normally in the divisions of each planet, but with a little extra boot! So combining the Public events and Patrol missions you would get instances where the warring parties would duke it out for sections of land on the planet. This would happen every 30 minutes, maybe longer (2-3 Hours +, or perhaps even weekly?). The enemies would be highly levelled so the War Zones feature would be a challenge (level 30+ at current) and when a guardian died they would die for good and couldn't enter the War Zones area until it was up for grabs again. As many people as Bungie's system will allow on each planet can join the War Zone, regardless of level. Each warring party (Guardians and the other two warring parties E.G. Fallen, Hive, Cabal and Vex) would have some sort of base, a HQ if you will. In the middle of the warring area would be where the main chunk of battling will ensue, with each of the HQs toward the outer most side of the warring zone (If you imagine the warring zone like a triangle with each point of the triangle as a base and the middle as the middle ground where most of the fights happen). There will only be a certain amount of each of the two warring parties (IDK, 100 enemies per warring party?) and when/IF you kill all of a warring parties "soldiers" then their base can be destroyed! YAY! BUT! at each of the HQs there will be a boss that spawns only when all of his "soldiers" have been beaten. As soon as the boss is killed; that base will be destroyed and then for the other base. When either of the three warring parties has either destroyed two bases or killed all of the guardians and destroyed the others base the War Zone is over and who ever is still standing will capture that section of world. Dead Jack thinks it is important that ALL A.I.s should target their enemies by the first one they see they attack until dead, but if they lose sight of their enemy then they will select another. It should be this way because it wouldn't be fair if when a guardian rooks up to a battle both warring parties are gunning him/her down... An emphasis should be put on the War Zones being HARD! There should be a REAL chance of the guardians losing! If the realism of it isn't there then there is no point it being made. To maybe play a wild card, every so often in a War Zone a fourth warring party should join from another planet (E.G. the Cabal invading Earth) to try and gain a foothold in that planet. However, there should be a lot less of them than the others (maybe like 30 of them) and if they win.... well then they get that foothold they wanted, probably accompanied with a promotion! But all joking aside, the War Zones feature will be something else to strengthen Destiny. The Crucible is good, but if you are more of a PVE'er then you could still enjoy War Zones which will kind of be like the PVP for A.I.s.... AI V P (or vice versa)? Just a few more details, Should a warring party manage to capture all of the points on a planet then they should "own" the planet and all of the mobs of that party should be stronger in-game and have more of a presence throughout. If say the Cabal somehow manage to take over Earth then when walking about Earth; parties of Cabal should be situated across the map. Since Destiny has such a huge following all across the globe, there should maybe be different groupings of players (Europe, America, Asia ETC) (or maybe another way of grouping players). so that it is easier to manage and consistent throughout. If this feature came into play it would be a nice sort of past time in between each release of DLC, and maybe when the different DLCs come out it might change the game up a little or add in more areas for each planet. Anyway, thats everything mentioned for War Zones! Dead Jack hopes you, the players, and the developers of Destiny see this and it eventually gets put in-game. See you in-game! Dead Jack
